As for Brad Bell, I do think he cares about the show, even if he is, by and large, a hack who ran the show off the rails for over a decade until he managed to pull it back together in the last few years. I love the idea of Stephanie's portrait being removed. It's the type of melodramatic "I hate you...look at me!" that she excelled at. Too bad they can't get Susan Flannery back to haunt the place.
