It amazes me that I like Rafe. Seriously amazes me. It's got to be the Aniston influence.

I know this isn't popular, but JJ talking to Daniel doesn't bother me as much as it used to. JJ needs an adult to talk to. Jennifer doesn't work, and Rory is just a kid(not a very bright one, but entirely entertaining). Too bad Uncle Mike isn't around...(or any Hortons other than Naggie Maggie or Lucas who shares no scenes with him). At least when he screws up, he has someone that listens, so I don't need Dr Daniel in every story, but this one doesn't bother me any more.

I am. I think Rory could make Paige fun. But then again with these writers I doubt it. Why did they create Daphne and not just recast this actress as Mary Beth? They serve the same function to me.

LMAO! Can you imagine how riveting a story where it's revealed that Beige and Schuyler Yancey's Cameron are siblings would be?

Clint looked way better in his pictures. That's disappointing.

Sometimes on this board it is nice to see someone post the unpopular thing..shows free thinking. I wish JJ had confided in Daniel,,Daniel gave him an openeing when he sais he has messed up so many times in his life. Eve needs to go down..She is the adult here and it is not fair that JJ is the only one suffering. what could happen? Paige hates him anyway so why not tell the truth?

The back of Melanie's shirt looks so stupid.

Paige/JJ/Cole is just horrid. Does the Paige actress not know there are other ways to play mad and angry besides pushing around her scene partner a million times? It's criminal how much they're wasting Casey Moss.

How many times can an employee assault his boss before getting fired? This is ridiculous. Ben is the most unprofessional person ever. He's like a caveman.

And I can't believe I didn't mention this before, but did Daniel really bring up that Brady is older than Melanie? Really? Really? Yeah, because St. Daniel would never get with someone if there was an age difference there. Ugh.

Also, Maggie's green top was atrocious.

I thought the rumour was Suzanne stayed friends with him after the break up and took his side. I’ve never heard about an affair.

A few months ago, Suzanne was interviewed for about an hour on the Soapy podcast. Although she didn't mention Deidre, she did tell a story about some resentment with other actors. She shared that when she was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis in the mid-1980s, her appearance changed and two or three of the other actors made derogatory remarks about it. Suzanne also admitted she still harbors a grudge about it, and she doubts forgiveness is in the future. Could this be the cause of the current issue between Suzanne and Deidre? I'm sure Suzanne's interview is still available, if anyone is interested in listening.

Yeah, I don't think he would've been as successful at AW as he was elsewhere. For one thing, NBC was gonna NBC, and P&G was gonna P&G. There's no way Douglas Marland would have enjoyed the kind of support there that he had at ATWT or GL. And for another, aside from its' longtime, core audience, I really do believe most of the rest of the industry and viewers had just written off AW, expecting it to be cancelled sooner or later.

If I were Dee, I wouldn't care one whit about that. As long as he was out of MY house, he could have all the cookies he wants, lol.

Maybe. You aren't the first person to bring up that idea. It seems silly though. I doubt Suzanne had anything to do with Dee/Drake's firing and they were brought back fairly quickly anyway. The show did use Maggie more back then, but even if Deidre was mad about that-get over it! It was a decade ago.

Speculation, but could it have something to do with (or exasperated by) the aftermath of Marlena & John being written out for a few years in the late 2000s? Rogers' screentime shot up in that era and I remember hearing good things about her work. Whereas Maggie barely qualified as a character from when Hall returned in the 90s until then.

I'd say the same about Susan Lucci's issues with SMG. In fact, I'd blame two people for that mess: 1) SMG's mother, who allegedly told anyone and everyone that SMG/Kendall was going to be the next Erica Kane; and 2) Christopher Goutman, who, as one of AMC's directors, allegedly encouraged SMG to say or do something in a scene with Lucci that was unscripted and without Lucci's prior knowledge or approval.
