I love your ideas Cheap. I'm not sure Millie has what it takes to be a long term Brooke like character, but I do think the show could get a good couple of years out of this type of arc. They need to bring Thomas back though, so she has an additional target. Hell, they should bring Zende on, but they probably won't.

JY is definitely looking fine this week! I could watch him everyday. The best part of the storyline this week is that Liam and Wyatt aren't anywhere around. I love Quinn and Deacon but I'm glad the show has focused on some other characters for a few days.

Caroline is pulling off this writing as well as she can! Have always found the character to be a spoiled brat but Linsey can at least deliver.

Carter's acting has improved greatly since he was on GL! I no longer cringe every time I see Carter come on.

I hope Katie kicks Caroline's ass.

I wish Brooke would come back and be put in charge of Forrester! I find Ridge so annoying and have never been a fan of TK (which is probably why). I don't get why so many women are infatuated with Ridge....except maybe that he's filthy rich!

Am probably late to the party (ROFL to the many names of Myrna ah Maya...) but last Friday's show was just sooooo very good. And Monica ah Myrna ah Maya and her head tossing campy acting self was a major part for that.

I *never* saw that turn of events coming in just one episode. And Donna and Katie had some great dialogue and not just filler material. Wowza.

Mylicka makes me laugh...and yes, it is over-the-top camp but that's why I like it.

Glad that Ridge had the CEO position revoked!!! Not that I expect it to end up really going to Rick. If it does, I hope he doesn't turn into a Bill caricature where he's just a total ass to everyone now.

She definitely is not a great actress but she perfectly fits the campy B&B formula and is doing spectacular with it. Linsey Godfrey wo is now supposed to do some serious character acting heavy lifting is having way more trouble to get through her scenes these days. Personally, I'd say she is better than Karla Mosley (she was also fun last year as camp diva Caroline with the gay henchman LOL!) but also not a good actress and the material is way ahead of her skills.

I'm positively stunned that Marianna is 1) still a part of this show after nearly 2 years (say what!?) and 2) is actually an asset to it. Few black actors/actresses on this show if any were this fortunate till date.

This Big Brother party is the cheesiest [!@#$%^&*] ever and I'm loving every minute. Someone please make a gif of Lawrence doing that Michael Jackson finger snapping when Liam and Ivy won.

When Mazel tov said, "I'll make myself scarce", "PLEASE DO!" jumped out of my mouth. Stay thirsty Manitoba, "the head honcho and the lead model on his arm!"

So I'm visiting my Mom and watched B&B live. It's so great that Brooke is off canvas to give people like JY screentime. What an underutilized asset - I hope they continue featuring him in large doses. Oh, my thirsty, thirsty MORTICIA! Wow, her desperation for status and wealth is amazing. I LOVE IT! It's so great to see a hungry character - even better to have that character as a minority. And, I know, she has her detractors, but I think the two of them make a great couple. OC, I love LG. I hope this is a long-running triangle.

Whoops, double post on iPad! So I'll add that I'm glad to see SC paired with someone else. The Hope saga really neutered him and he is an engaging actor. Even though I enjoy KKL, I hope this three-month vacation, encourages the show to feature more characters in the future in more than supporting roles. The show is stocked with plenty of actors who are capable of big storylines. I'll admit, I never imagined how B&B could reinvent itself after SF, but it has done an amazing job. And, even the loss of JM has been more than covered.

    •  Thanks! For some reason I had misremembered ER and Chicago Hope going directly head to head but that may have been because of the hype about both shows.    Poor Connie Chung. She seem poised for success and possibly the next Barbara Walters. I don’t recall her co-anchor gig on the CBS Evening News was well received though. She kind of tanked her career moving into more a tabloid journalist role once at ABC and especially once she moved off network TV to CNN and later more infamously on MSNBC.

    • Strangely, it was Phillip who invited Evie to go to the ball with him. She had been taking care of Samantha, so I guess it was a way to thank her for helping Justin after Jackie's death? So she was not invited by Vanessa. Phillip brought her as his plus one. That Evie stayed on the canvas so long is extremely odd, especially since Ben was gone way before her. My theory is Marland was going to bring Rita back, so they wanted Evie to remain in place as her sounding board. When he left and Potter was still EP, that might have still been the plan. Once Kobe came in, that would have been thrown in the dumpster along with a lot of other story plans and characters.
    • Nina and Portia are generally presented as entirely too savvy to not think this ketamine (don't even GET me started on that) nonsense wouldn't immediately blow up in their face. Drew, the ex-navy seal and congressman, wouldn't get a drug test immediately after acting wildly out of character? Portia allowed this to so easily be traced back to her by roping in Brad, a man who can't stand her? Nina didn't think Willow would Stand By Her Man? Girl, PAY ATTENTION! I also find it disturbing how BOTH of them are gaslighting Willow. It feels gross. They should have presented Gio as anything other than a responsible, genial and affable guy if they wanted us to buy any of Dante's ranting about him. You've known this kid since he was a baby and suddenly you're yelling at him like he's the devil incarnate? It was so forced. Every one of them, including Dante, know that they all would have done the same thing in Gio's shoes. Teen gets drunk, friends cover for them. Gio's only 5 years older than him, barely allowed to legally drink himself. How was he to know the kid had alcohol poisoning? Alexa Havins crying every day over keeping a baby secret. Ahh memories. Molly and Kristina are just the worst to their mom and Alexis allows it. Kristina does need to be committed, she's a danger to herself and others. I wish Alexis would just tell her that she knows. I can't wait until Molly finds out about her almost getting Ric and Liz killed. I need her to body slam Kristina. Sasha thinks she knows EVERYTHING. She's always giving advice and painted as right no matter what. And so holier than thou while carrying a married man's baby.
    • Correction, Chicago Hope 1994/95 was initially Thursday 9 pm, a CBS dead zone and head-to-head w/ Seinfeld. 1994/95 CBS Thursday 10 pm initially was Eye to Eye with Connie Chung. Later in the season CBS did a scheduling shift with Chicago Hope moving to Monday 10 pm, Eye to Eye with Connie Chung moving to Thursday 9 pm, and 48 Hours moving from Wednesday 10 pm to Thursday 10 pm.

    • A--I wish someone would post a better vid of the entire ball, as it must be out there. And B--nope. Evie is only in a small segment of the ball with Phillip, Rick and Mindy. She doesn't dance at all. Ross dances with Helena and Amanda. I'm not even sure why Evie is at the ball---Vanessa heartily disliked her. I did see that Billy actually asked Henry to introduce him to Vanessa, which I hadn't realized.
    • Honestly, they should've ordered more of 2000 Malibu Road for the 1992-93 midseason and aired it when Knots went on a break. That was probably their best shot.    Then of course they fumbled Central Park West by airing it in the 9PM slot instead of a 10PM slot where it would've been away from the Fox dramas. CPW got its best rating by airing randomly on a Sunday and when it was taken off the air for a "re-tooling", Party of Five's ratings actually had a spike, so clearly they were feeding off each other. But being a smaller network focused on a certain demographic, Fox could afford to be patient Party of Five, CBS couldn't...
    • Agree on Bruce Gray as Owen; they needed to cast star power. He was too lightweight against Kim and he had no chemistry with Frances Fischer except more gay buddy or daddy figure.  I loved Nola and Eliot together though. Lee Godart should have been longer term.
    • Andre has the worst fashion of the males which is off putting for someone as fine as he is. His jackets and sweaters look dated and no vintage does not work for him
