DAYS is actively seeking to cast the contract role of Maya, who is described as a 25-30 year old, gorgeous, African-American female. Maya is a confident, dedicated professional with a sensitive side. Taping is tentatively scheduled for late November/early December, which means she would likely first air mid-year in 2015.

    It's a bit laughable that they are outlining "Maya/Myrna" from B&B. Seriously, glad DAYS is making an attempt. I still think killing off Lexie was a mistake. Send the character away and recast down the line. Very sad. Did her death impact any real storylines?
