Members nutty4gh
Is it just me or are they not using the actors abilities very well.
Members sivad40
I think Elizabeth has been pregnant 4 times. Faith caused Liz to miscarry Ric's child when she pushed her down the stairs.
Members Cheap21
She's been pregnant more than that 1. 2003 - miscarriage with Ric's baby 2. 2004 - Cameron 3. 2005 - miscarriage with Jax's baby 4. 2007 - Jake 5. 2010 - Aiden
Members sivad40
What was the backstory with Liz and Jax? I quit watching GH around that time (family, school, work, Guiding Light had better storylines)?
Members marceline
That's just sickening.
Members quartermainefan
This list is even worse when you add in all the times Carly was pregnant or had a false pregnancy during the same time period. And then you could add in Robin, Sam, Skye, Alexis and recent brood mares Lulu and Maxie, and all GH has been for the last dozen years is pregnancies. Members Cheap21
Jax and Courtney wanted a baby but she couldnt concieve. Lucky and Liz had money issues so she offered to be a surrogate. Her egg was used but she miscarried the baby She got pregnant with Ric's baby in 2002, so she literally was pregnant every year from 2002-2005
Members marceline
That's true for all of ABC Daytime. It's been nonstop baby rabies since the turn of the century.
Members Ryan Chamberlain
As a childfree woman I find that troubling. I really wish there was one female soap character who really truly didn't ever want kids. And, was not afraid to voice her opinion when people questioned her. Members Juliajms
I agree. I've been wishing that for a long time. I also think there is room for someone who can't have children and who learns to come to terms with that without getting a "miracle". GH could never do that kind of story justice though, so a woman who just doesn't want a child and doesn't change her mind works for me.
Members Juliajms
Yeah, but she was basically a dayplayer who ended up with a baby whether she wanted to or not.
Members Bright Eyes
That character exists on my Shortland Street. Rachel McKenna! She even went as far as having the surgery to prevent herself ever getting pregnant!

Members Cheap21
I wouldn't exactly call Ellie a dayplayer. She was heavy recurring and got more airtime and story than many on contract. I guess your latter point remains though
