Rick doesn't work with Jacob Young because it's clear the writers aren't invested in him. If they were he wouldn't be with boring ass Caroline Spencer. Caroline needs to be written off 100%. The only hope for him is if they bring back Amber to spice things up for him. I would do a triangle with Amber and Maya and let Amber start scheming and manipulating things. She actually has chemistry with Jacob Young and could bring him to life. Plus that would help get other characters like Eric, Brooke and Ridge involved because EVERYBODY has an opinion on Amber. Even Donna could become involved because Amber is the mother of her granddaughter. Potentially throw in a recast Marcus and you could have a decent story.

It was clear from his interviews when he was first cast that he was just looking for a stable pay check, when B&B called after AMC was cancelled. It wouldn't surprise me if he jumps back to GH next.

I think the Rick character needs an edge, something that makes him stand out from the typical Forrester beta male routine (Thorne, Thomas, etc). Maybe he should start drinking, having an addiction or something.

As far as Amber is concerned - please, NO. Talk about a played out character. They just don't know what to do with her anymore, she has been through everything and doesn't seem to have evolved much. That was a tired Brad Bell creation, and she should just stay where she is-- offscreen LOL

Paraphrasing Wyatt: "You expected me to step over his bloody body and reap the spoils?" I totally guessed it was a Patrick Mulcahey script when Wyatt said that. Great scenes between Quinn/Wyatt/Liam today.

I agree Quinn making that sort was all kinds of amazing. They really made Liam look like the biggest wimp on this planet though. Baby Will would have fought harder for his life for pity's sake. It's not that I wanted to see Liam haul off and hit Quinn, that would have been harsh for daytime, but at least push her away or make some real effort to save yourself. Damn. I hope Quinn isn't written out. I'm concerned since Wyatt made her sound like she's always been insane.

Yes Cheap I'm speaking of Caroline Forester Rick' wife I don't think she was uber snobby but I interpreted her as one mayhap it was further on down the pike but one thing I know for certain is she wasn't rocking her head all this when I watched her then...I thought she was a terrible actress when she first came on so I confess I didn't get into her all that much. That' when she set her mouth in that toothpaste grin after nearly every sentence of dialog like she' doing a Crest commercial. It irritated me.

I paid her more attention during the Maya/Rick storyline because I didn't think that they weren't going with Maya/Rick.

I also didn't think that Quinn would be so cray cray; yes, wanted her taken down a notch (which happened, she's not strutting around Forester like she owns the joint) but I wasn't expecting her to be homicidal this surprised me.

But Rena is doing a good job with this material so I'm enjoying her can't wait to see what happens with this story. I also enjoyed the Liam/Wyatt scenes. IA Liam has been wimpy, but for me, all through his issues with Quinn thank goodness they wrote him a sprained foot that helped.

Speaking of Ronn Moss this may have been posted but he's doing a soap celebrity wife swap eppy with Tyler Christopher I think its on July 22nd I read..haven't confirmed it yet..

Possibly the strangest part of the episode was when Hope said that Bill was going to be her father in law and Brooke pointed out that Wyatt would be her brother in law. Then I realized that before that happens Bill will be her step father and Wyatt her step brother. Of course, it's more likely that Wyatt will be her husband first and Liam will be her brother in law. blink.png I mean, I enjoyed those Wyatt/Liam scenes, but that can't last. Still, maybe my favorite part of that last episode was when Wyatt said he didn't need Hope that much and that there were other women out there. I'm sure that won't last either, but it was nice to hear him say it at least.

The Spencer and Logan family has gotten a bit incestuous. Caroline is married to Rick. Brooke is about to be married to Bill. Hope was recently dating both brothers but is planning to marry Liam (they engaged?) Bridget is the only one of Brooke's adult children that hasn't hooked up with one of them

RS and DB were awesome. And RS is so beautiful. If I was straight I would.

What's gonna happen to Quinn now? It's been almost exactly one year since RS joined, I'm hoping she didn't just sign a one-year contract?

    • Strangely, it was Phillip who invited Evie to go to the ball with him. She had been taking care of Samantha, so I guess it was a way to thank her for helping Justin after Jackie's death? So she was not invited by Vanessa. Phillip brought her as his plus one. That Evie stayed on the canvas so long is extremely odd, especially since Ben was gone way before her. My theory is Marland was going to bring Rita back, so they wanted Evie to remain in place as her sounding board. When he left and Potter was still EP, that might have still been the plan. Once Kobe came in, that would have been thrown in the dumpster along with a lot of other story plans and characters.
    • Nina and Portia are generally presented as entirely too savvy to not think this ketamine (don't even GET me started on that) nonsense wouldn't immediately blow up in their face. Drew, the ex-navy seal and congressman, wouldn't get a drug test immediately after acting wildly out of character? Portia allowed this to so easily be traced back to her by roping in Brad, a man who can't stand her? Nina didn't think Willow would Stand By Her Man? Girl, PAY ATTENTION! I also find it disturbing how BOTH of them are gaslighting Willow. It feels gross. They should have presented Gio as anything other than a responsible, genial and affable guy if they wanted us to buy any of Dante's ranting about him. You've known this kid since he was a baby and suddenly you're yelling at him like he's the devil incarnate? It was so forced. Every one of them, including Dante, know that they all would have done the same thing in Gio's shoes. Teen gets drunk, friends cover for them. Gio's only 5 years older than him, barely allowed to legally drink himself. How was he to know the kid had alcohol poisoning? Alexa Havins crying every day over keeping a baby secret. Ahh memories. Molly and Kristina are just the worst to their mom and Alexis allows it. Kristina does need to be committed, she's a danger to herself and others. I wish Alexis would just tell her that she knows. I can't wait until Molly finds out about her almost getting Ric and Liz killed. I need her to body slam Kristina. Sasha thinks she knows EVERYTHING. She's always giving advice and painted as right no matter what. And so holier than thou while carrying a married man's baby.
    • Correction, Chicago Hope 1994/95 was initially Thursday 9 pm, a CBS dead zone and head-to-head w/ Seinfeld. 1994/95 CBS Thursday 10 pm initially was Eye to Eye with Connie Chung. Later in the season CBS did a scheduling shift with Chicago Hope moving to Monday 10 pm, Eye to Eye with Connie Chung moving to Thursday 9 pm, and 48 Hours moving from Wednesday 10 pm to Thursday 10 pm.

    • A--I wish someone would post a better vid of the entire ball, as it must be out there. And B--nope. Evie is only in a small segment of the ball with Phillip, Rick and Mindy. She doesn't dance at all. Ross dances with Helena and Amanda. I'm not even sure why Evie is at the ball---Vanessa heartily disliked her. I did see that Billy actually asked Henry to introduce him to Vanessa, which I hadn't realized.
    • Honestly, they should've ordered more of 2000 Malibu Road for the 1992-93 midseason and aired it when Knots went on a break. That was probably their best shot.    Then of course they fumbled Central Park West by airing it in the 9PM slot instead of a 10PM slot where it would've been away from the Fox dramas. CPW got its best rating by airing randomly on a Sunday and when it was taken off the air for a "re-tooling", Party of Five's ratings actually had a spike, so clearly they were feeding off each other. But being a smaller network focused on a certain demographic, Fox could afford to be patient Party of Five, CBS couldn't...
    • Agree on Bruce Gray as Owen; they needed to cast star power. He was too lightweight against Kim and he had no chemistry with Frances Fischer except more gay buddy or daddy figure.  I loved Nola and Eliot together though. Lee Godart should have been longer term.
    • Andre has the worst fashion of the males which is off putting for someone as fine as he is. His jackets and sweaters look dated and no vintage does not work for him
    • I don’t recall MSW having a toy line in the late 80’s or early 90’s like all those Saturday morning cartoons did LOL but thought this was cute when I saw it in a vintage toy store yesterday:
