Attempting to coerce a woman into becoming a birth mother is one of the worst things a human being can do. I realize everyone on this show has to maintain a child-like state of mind in order for any plot to advance, but how on Earth could anyone take anything that flea-bitten, anthropomorphic dog says seriously? This August he is celebrating seven years as a head writer. That's a long run for someone getting promoted. Tell me someone in the last 10 years like Ron who got promoted from a writing team to head writer to win an Emmy and have this kind of buzz and longevity. Nobody has done it in the last 10 years. Your praise for RC is just over-the-top. He revitalized daytime drama? Uh....no. I think Maxie and Ethan DO have chemistry. He's writing the same kind of stories everyone else has been writing for decades. There is, as far as I can tell, nothing original or progressive about his storytelling.
