Say what you will about the Winters twins (Lily and devon), but they are keeping this neil/Hilary [!@#$%^&*] pairing afloat. Bitch Lily is easy to hate and jilted Devon is frustrating. IA with CM getting her footing and the character being disposable but I liked CW's version.

What made her work for me is she lost her kid & she was able to play up the grieving mother who lost her way she made me forgive her for sleeping with Billy. Also, she didn't look as put together he came across as disheveled and that disarray worked with what she went through, then slowly coming into her own.

CM' Kelly came in with the polished nails, expert make up from the gate, if I could've seen a little bit of that earlier version of Kelly ... I realized the character was further along but some of that may have helped me make the adjustment. Right off the bat, she's glued to Jack now its symphonies , sonnets, and film noir. Its easy to see this triangle being set for when Phyllis wakes up.

I can't with Lily she just comes across as super stuck up for some reason, I don't know if its the voice or what....she's behaving so terribly immature that even though I agree with her point of forgiving Hillary...I just want her to shut up.

I know actors use this excuse because they don't want to imitate and want to put their own stamp on the role, but watching old footage will help them get a handle on who the character is. A good actor should be able to know what they need to take from the previous portrayal in order to make it work. McClain isn't playing any of the backstory Kelly has.

She is totally lacking the harshness of this ill-conceived character, Cynthia Watros began to flesh out at the end of her run. You cannot go playing school girl with Jack to being a b*tch to Ben over his "secret".

I don't agree with that, Chris. The problem is that the role has changed significantly and has not been clearly defined. Cady wouldn't even have to be a great actress for us to recognize the character, the broken woman desperately hanging on making errors along the way would be easy for CM to play if written. We may prefer CW'S version, but again, we'd recognize the character. This is all on that hack duo!

Literally from her first day, that back story was completely taken out of the performance.

Let's see if cady can make it work. So far not that impressed but hopefully she digs deep into the role. It's a departure from Cynthia watros but cady can make it work

I was stretch to believe that some day on the Y&R someone would "out-giggle" CKLily… But well, it happened. LOL

Another pretty much all around bashed story is Jill & Colin around these quarters. There I'm in the minority of non-hatred, though. I think the writers are doing a decent job with Jill. I very much loved how Jill turned the tables on Colin. If they miraculously could work in Gloria into all of this and she would finally get payback from Jill for all those years previous regimes played Jill dumb to brighten up Mrs. Fisher Bardwell, I'd definitely sit through this with a huge smile on my face.
