It's sad that the AMC/OLTL nods didn't come through, but I expected that. It's nice the younger actors were acknowledged, but there were some REALLY good adult actors who deserved nominations. It's an absolute crime that Roger Howarth is nominated as Franco, his worse acted role ever, but not for his timeless performance on the web OLTL. Kassie DePaiva was also robbed. I hope that people are fair and include them when it comes to Best Show, Directing and Writing where they BOTH should be nominated.

Lead Actress - These women are all strong and pretty much deserve their nominations.

Lead Actor - VERY weak category this year. Half of these actors shouldn't be on here.

Supporting Actress - Another weak category. I could see many of them having the material, but I'm not excited about any of their work this past year. Disappointed Lisa Cicero and Kelly Sullivan got Pre-Noms.

Supporting Actor - Robert Adamsen? How is this possible? No screentime and he can't act. Other than that this category doesn't look too bad.

Younger Actress - Kelly Missal is the one OLTL actor I REALLY wanted nominated, so I'm happy she is there. If she makes the final ballot she could win.

Younger Actor - To be expected. I would hope that Corbin Bleu wins. He doesn't have the big, flashy performance reel, but his performances were very good.

GO sharon case in the lead actress category! She should has had great scenes this year when they were trying to make her go crazy.

WTF @ Jessica Collins being in lead actress. Bitch has been for two years? Why's she even nominated? The most dramatic scenes she has had was making cupcakes.

Go Eileen! I miss her and cant wait for her to return.

Anna annoys me, but Fiona is a fantastic actress and deserves this!

As much as it sickens me to say, Katherine Kelly (Hogan) also deserves a spot. She's had good scenes this year w/o the miscarriage and affair reveal.

Kelly Monaco's done nothing beside fight with Julian this year and run over Michael Easton. Why's she nominated? For that baby cancer [!@#$%^&*]? I like KeMo, but there's nothing important shes done this year.

Ali was okay during the Marge shooting.

Heather Tom's going to steal the Emmys again.

I'm kinda rooting for Jess Walton to win. I love a lot of the others but Jess is flawless. and I hope she wins!

Dont get me started on Maura West.

Lauras nominated? Terrible year for her and Carly.

Go ari! Those church scenes were well done!

Im sick of talking about the emmys already.

LOL at the drama over MM in the comments.

And yay for the actor who played Y&R Jamie.

It goes without saying that I liked that AMC/OLTL were acknowledged in the younger sections.

And fingers crossed for SC, ED, and FH.

So happy that Jess made the lead actress list!......wub.pngwub.pngwub.png I would love it if she actually won or was it least on the final nominee list.....

I can't wait to hear the D.C people bitch once again over how Khalil is too "old" to be in the younger actress list.....

If Nancy Lee Grahn submits the work she did during Alexis' break-up with Shawn, she should easily win her third supporting actress trophy.

Assuming she doesn't alienate the entire Emmy panel with the crazy things she tweets between now and the awards ceremony.

    • They even had the same cop investigate the crime lol
    • So I think I figured based on the end credits who is the script writer for each episode. Thursday's episode looked to have been script written by David Kreizman, and it was a well written episode that flowed well. Today's episode looked to have been script written by Henry Newman (son of Fran Myers and the late Roger Newman).   Right now, I've noticed improvements on the day to day scripts and that's a good sign that eventually the long term outlines that we will see in the coming weeks and months will be good.  Fingers crossed.
    • I have a very different view of Dano. For one thing, she like me, loves her little dogs. Another thing, of course she is effusive, outgoing but she is also very vulnerable & she used to have her Frank, her mother & Vivian who officially was her publicist (I think) but she was so much more. Now, they are all gone. Well, except for her always having a pair of her little dogs. But, if I were going to think in your terms, what I would think is "cool aunt". Because this lady is really one cool dame. Here is one of my favorite views of her https://www.instagram.com/reel/DGecq8rJS4w/

    • I found it to be a rather odd way to deal with a character departing for parts unknown.
    • Today reminded me as to why I’m a little disappointed in the name that the new Pope chose

Luckily, EJ and Johnny, and pretty much every other character saved today’s episode.  I didn’t expect Javi to be the one to save Sarah though, and I don’t mind it at all, because if it means that Javi is finally going to get his own identity/character, away from his douchy bf, I’m all for it. Javi’s scenes would’ve been a lot better had it not been for him. EJ and Johnny were the best part of today. Their conversation hit a lot of important beats and I’m so looking forward to seeing them play out. And now that EJ knows that Johnny is going to work for Xander, that opens up another dynamic to their storyline and to the Kiriakis family storylines as well. Tying them all together could be really good. There are so many story possibilities that can come out of this. And I thought Carson Boatman did a pretty good job again too.  I also liked that Johnny was there to comfort Chanel after everything that happened with Sarah. They’re so good together. But I do have mixed feelings about Chanel possibly forgiving Johnny so quickly. Hopefully, the question that she asked him at the end of today leads to more conflict for the two of them.  And yeah, still no changes in Alex’s character lol
    • Awesome, thanks so much for taking the time to grab this episode. I had a quick review of your rip because I was curious why it was 700MB and 30 minutes. The first 10 minutes of the episode is 3169 (opening credits at 5 minutes and again at 15 minutes). I thought we had the full HD version of ep.3170 on the YouTube channel, but it appears they added the wrong episode but labelled it 3170.
    • I guess, according to Mike Manning in the Michael Fairman chat, he was almost Derek
