I think one of the main differences is that Amber and Chloe don't have the same rhythm or acting style that Mishael has with her. It makes for something different. They mostly just whined.

Daniel Jonas sleeps with all his female patients. They usually end up obsessed with him and do out of character things to hold onto him while he always ends up looking like the hero despite the lives he hurts. Too many woman have been ruined over him. He is incredibly propped by most of the characters he comes in contact and the select few that dont worship the ground he walks on of course are looked down upon. There are fans that also resent him for the destruction of Jack and Jennifer as even when she was with Jack, it was obvious she was only settling bc she wanted Daniel. Jack then died of course and the show ever since has revolved around the trials and tribulations of Daniel and Jennifer who act like teens breaking up and getting back together. Its nauseasting and their scenes are beyond repetitive. I didnt even get into the retcon that made him Maggie's son and ruined her in the process

I enjoy some of the newer Y&R characters like Dylan, Avery, Chelsea, Leslie, and Stitch, and that takes nothing away from my love of my favorite vets. That said, I don’t think being a vet makes you a good actor or a worthwhile character and I wouldn’t shed a tear if Sharon or Nick were killed off. Hell, a few more years and Cane will be a vet, ugh...

I really miss a lot of the secondary characters like Col. Douglas, Miguel, Flo, Mamie… they added flavor to the show.

I never thought of Victor Newman as a villain. He went from awesome badass to doddering old fool thanks to the writing.

I thought it would have made more sense to make Silas Sam’s father and Julian her lover on GH. Can’t stand Maura West as Ava or in any other role except her very first few months as Carly on ATWT.

GH has been pullling out every bad writing convention known to man, things I usually despise, but I am still enjoying the show and I always give them a pass for things that would upset me if Y&R tried them because Y&R is “my show” and should be above that, dammit!

I like both Robin and Sabrina, but Patrick has the most chemistry with Sam.

I can’t stand Steffy on B&B and I don’t see the attraction (not sure if that is an unpopular opinion here, I haven’t been around long enough).

So when a white character is extremely hated, what's the reasoning behind that? Why is KA/Kiki so hated? Daniel Jonas? Franco?

When white characters are being hated by viewers, they still get things written for them. They still are acting on the show. They are never backburn then disappear. Well maybe sometimes but black characters it is done more to.

When Chloe was pretending to be pregnant by cane, Chloe was the snarky bitch while Lily gave her best doe eyed Sharon the heroine impression. I don't remember Lily sharing any scenes with Amber at all. What she part of that set? I remember it being Amber, Daniel, Janna and Kevin. By the time, lily got with cane, Amber had totally moved on.

The problem with CKLily snarky is that they never let the others girls respond back they just take it. If I could write for Lily new enemy, I'll have her laugh off the CkLily snarky. Then they would have to take it in other direction. & let see her keep up being snarky then.

Nothing really. She still is the same "WUV THE TWINS!" "Cane is sexxxiiiii" "You'll be fine!" "Boo hoo I have cancer" bitch but she had a few scenes were she was snarky & bitchy and it was a refreshing change from the saccharine.

Refreshing...yeah that's it. That's the word...maybe I don't like her after all.

You may not remember it but it happened. Amber played a role in the disintegration of Lily's marriage to Daniel. Lily didnt like them as friends and she encouraged his porn addiction which caused problems for them. She disliked her and was quite bitchy to her. And Lily was no doe eyed innocent when deaing with Chloe. She gave just as good as she got. Someone on YT made a video with scenes from her feuds with them

And yet, something tells me that Valley Girl Lily's "bitchery" is akin to throwing viewers a musty bone - especially when a far superior actress was fired in order to give her back the role that she delusionally thought she was too great for.

To this day, I still SMDH at the lost potential of having the real Lily do the current young generation proud by being the true heir apparent to Drucilla Barber-Winters.
