Y&R: Return!

I thought she shut JG down pretty well.

That he didn't respond back says it all. I don't really know or care about whether Burton is being flown in but I'm not sure she'd blatantly lie about it. I hope at the very least this might have reminded him that not everyone is going to kiss up to him or take Logan's word as the last.

The constant jeering and catcalling of Jamey, Jillian, and friends creates such an ugly atmosphere. There's no need to speak to people that way.

This is supposed to be their job. Do your damn job.

This is the same "journalist" who says Craptini revolutionized GH and the pets they brought along and cater to are good fits. Honestly, does JG have any remaining credibility?

How embarrassing. They hire someone who is actually from Y&R and was a popular actor in the same role, and they still get this braying.

I don't how that McDaniel woman puts up with this nonsense. These people are silly and incredibly entitled.

I don't know why she even wastes time bothering them. Jamey is only defending BM because one of his agents spills casting info to him for his site.

I think having a drug problem that affected his time on OLTL probably hurt his negotiating position. I have no idea what they are paying him, but I doubt it's top dollar given his past issues and the state of daytime budgets these days.

Addiction issues hasn't seemed to hurt the over men in the soap industry.

Believe what you want - I believe they're flying Burton in too, not that he deserves it - but that doesn't excuse Miller using the show as an ATM. And beyond that, getting into a twitter tiff with a network executive is not a good look for a journalist. Although standards have been lowering all the time in the world of social media, and not just for "soap journalism".

He might still be a little salty that Y&R doesn't play in the sandbox with them.

Huh.

Well, he's not doing Miller any favors. Maybe that's why he stopped, for now anyway.

I could see where he might be getting this treatment ...but I am not sure she would outright lie. If Sony was paying for SBu, I think we might have seen different phrasing.

To be honest, one persons contract is not a measuring stick for another's anyway.

I'd love for someone to harpoon his fat ass! What kind of reporting is that supposed to be?!

LMFAO!

I think it all depends on how it affects the show. Sean Kanan was shown the door pretty fast when his addiction issues got in the way of the show. Sure, people are given second chances, but I don't think any business is going to go to far out of their way to accommodate someone who may hurt their business. I'm sure Johnathan Ryes Myers has a smart agent, but NBC held his pay until he finished filming the last episode of the first season of his show (edited to fix a mistake).

Last season or last episode of the season?

CBS isn't in charge of contracts so she doesn't have a reason to lie.

I'd be happier if David Tom were returning to a Y&R that didn't suck.

I agree Khan! As it stands I have to HOPE somebody remembers his chemistry with Jess Walton so they actually put them in scenes together. Right now I'm not even convinced they know Billy is her biological son.
