I keep finding myself wanting to watch, but can't bring myself to...Hypothetically, if I were to take the plunge again, what's a good starting point?

last week is good. Avoid the episodes with the Jerome/Corinthos. The stuff surrounding Robin is good

The Baby Falconeri story has rotated back in. The best of GH right now. I know you are/were a fan of RH/LW's chem, so that's a plus, but you are going to have to ignore the story, what there is of it.

You should start with when Holly returned to the show a couple of months back.

so he can torture himself? Not worth it

That is where the best story on GH started, when Luke and Holly went after Jerry. Just because you are determined to dislike it and all things "craptini" doesn't make it actually bad. He could watch no talent Roger Howarth if he wants, that is up to him.

when have you ever seen me hate on all things craptini? I've never even used that term. And no I'm not determined to dislike all things GH. Don't confuse me with other posters. The Luke stuff from what I saw wasn't that great and there was too much drivel in the other stories to try and sit through months worth of episodes to get to today. Robin's return started a few weeks ago and an easier jump on point would be that. It helps that it's interesting but considering its fairly new, there's not a whole lot of episodes one works need to dig up in order to catch on.

Well duh it's his choice if he wants to watch it. He asked for advice which is what we're providing. It's up to him to follow if he decides to

1978...

Seriously, you might as well start with Robin's recent appearances. I'm not sure if anything else going on is interesting enough to where you need to see the buildup to it.

Lily had a lot more class and grace than Sabrina.

Speaking of which, what was the point of making her Juan's cousin when they did NOTHING with it?

Funny you should say that because

Michael Saucedo (Juan) has been taping with Becky Herbst and Sabrina recently...What a pointless return

Thanks to Addie for the info.

That's random as hell.

I guess it's sort of a nice thing to do for Becky, given her loyalty to the show. I know he's done well for himself so it's not like a pity thing, but it's still nice for her. Personally I was never a Juan fan.

Agreed Lily could have been a perfectly acceptable supporting good girl if not for the immense popularity/chemistry of SnB in the mid 90s. There are maybe some similarities but she was far more tolerable.

As I said in the other thread: Bye. If it's true he was improvising keeping in Luke's drinking even after RC made a point to take it out of the character and the scripts, that's beyond the pale for me.

What's been happening with the character of Franco?

Removing his tumor led to his removal of his artistic ability and he's been trying to draw pieces to sell to Sean Connery's son but failing. And apparently Heather's an amazing artist and he's going to pass her work off as his own. Oh, and he's fighting Julian for Carly's affection...literally.
