How about Bob Guza and Karen Harris Co-HWs of Y&R

Honestly Jill worked with bob before and there were times Guza had some brilliant moments with Karen Harris as new co head writers of young and restless. I suspect Griffith fired and Jill hiring her cronies.

My God, there are truly no young writers that want to write for soaps anymore (myself included), I guess. The inner sanctum of soap writing is just too incestuous these days.

Just sigh.

There are plenty of writers out there, except NO ONE wants to go and look for them

You could do a lot worse than Guza/Phelps because it could be Craptini, although I don't think CBS is stupid enough to hire this team for anything outside of a grocery list - and even that's questionable!

This is a network who cancelled two soaps for crap tv. I am sure if Les wife had any ounce of writing skills he would hire her as HW of Y&R...I am sure he thinks we dont see enough of her on tv as it is....As bad as Craptini is at GH ..we would see a lot of favorites return to Y&R. I am sure they would even bring back BD as a spoof...lol

CBS is not the only network to cancel soaps. Lest we forget there are only 4 left and the all shows canceled didn't belong to CBS. ABC canceled 2 at the same time, and talk about crap replacements. If The Revolution didn't tank, GH would be gone leaving ABC soapless, their ultimate goal! NBC canceled AW and added Trassions. How's that for bargain basement?

The absolute worst was James Reilly, VERY closely followed by Craptini!

Could we PLEASE BAN all threads/post on this board which suggest another worn out ABC REJECT as Y&R head writer!? SERIOUSLY

Don't give those IIC any ideas...

I COULD see them hiring Meg Bennett and Bob Guza and focusing on the fact that Meg played a popular character on Y&R and using that to distract from how poor Guza's work became. He would be just as bad for the show as Josh Griffith. The ABC style DOES NOT WORK for the Bell soaps.
