Great episode. I think Darnell Williams really brought it this episode--no over-acting as he can sometimes do, but truly devastating. I have to say I'm WAY more intrigued with the Petey/Celia stuff now that she seems so traumatized and he seems so clueless.

I actually felt Julia looked her best that she has in the online version today--and seemed comfortable in the role finally.

So YOU are the reason we have been cut to two episodes a week :(

"We don't know nothing." I see we have an uneducated ho here. I love how that snitch ho got snitched on.

Love that Angie was able to interact with Joe today

Billy Clyde is HIGHLY annoying. I was hoping he'd be the mastermind behind the trafficking but as it stands he only comes across as a bumbling fool. A red herring. Im going to need him to serve an actual purpose or get out

LMAO at Petey calling David. The audio from the other end sounded hilarious. His use of the word sh-t today felt a lot more natural than AJ spitting it out every day.

Where is my Griffin? :(

Why has no one mentioned, Cassandra's father? Im surprised they haven't had him call considering his daughter has been missing for about a month.

Was shocked to see Jesse meet with Yuri in the preview

This was the best episode of the reboot so far!

The Brooke/David & Joe/Angie scenes were great. I loved the references to history with Brooke offering her condolences to David as a mother who lost a child and Joe comforting Angie by bringing up when Ray kidnapped Tad.

I was happy to see Brooke on so much both with David & JR.

Both Angie and Jesse gave heartbreaking performances and I'm really intrigued by what Uri has planned for them.

.

Billy Clyde is hilarious and I'm glad he mentioned the statute of limitations on his past crimes had run out. I hope he sticks around long term!

I too find Pete/Celia much more interesting now that he's so oblivious to her unraveling mental state.

Today was such a great episode! No AJ/Miranda (nor that annoying guitar riff LOL).. and Celia/Pete weren't on all that much though I like that we are seeing her unravel slowly.

The best part of today was Brooke! She was talking about her own life and career! Glad she is bringing Tempo back, and genius that it would be an internet talk show! Now if Erica comes back, I could imagine her having a competing internet talk show herself.

He never really said he was a pimp, that that he provides a "cervix" for lonely men. His description sounded like it could be a legitimate escort service.

Woohoo at AMC being #1 on Hulu currently!

Even if he admitted he was a pimp, they would have to have some evidence to charge him. Also, they have bigger fish to fry, and if they can use a lower level guy like BCT to get them, they will. I am liking Robert more and more. He is obviously taking this acting job seriously and is doing a pretty darn good job so far. I hope Brooke brings it on as Colby!

That Freudian slip of Billy Clyde Tuggles was kind of hilarious.

I appreciated Darnell's restraint in these scenes. Quietly shattered works for him better than excessive shouting.

And Debbie really brought the pain. I really like her interaction with Joe Martin (I liked his interaction with Cara and even David too). I'm not a long time viewer but I can appreciate his sense of commiseration on what happened to Tad years ago. I like it when soaps reflect on their history and apply it to current storylines, even if in little doses.

Pete and Celia were in their own private hells today, weren't they? Those scenes in the hotel room were the most interesting ones they've done to date.

Brooke's role is becoming clearer in the household and in terms of business, I think it is sort of clever that she will be doing an online talk show. You have 'Meta-Theater', well, this, I guess, could be 'Meta-Streaming'.

With Cass referring to her father as the Chief of Police. I'm wondering if we are going to have a re-write of sorts, with Jesse being more of a Dad than in the ABC/broadcast version.

I'm expecting that the Miranda Center will be featured much more in the future in providing counseling/therapy to Cass and her fellow suffering/trafficking victims. It would be good to see future episodes of Bianca counseling Cassandra. Perhaps Cara would be a good attending physician to Cass and the other trafficking victims since Angie, as a Mother, will have her hands full taking care.

Interestingly enough, where there was no real place for Griffin in the Broadcast version, I think there are many places where his character could fit in. He could meet both the FBI agent and Cassandra as a result of this case. He doesn't have to be paired off with either but just see where the story goes.

I wonder if Petey still has his bi-focals in a drawer somewhere. Maybe he had Lasik surgery or something but it would tickle me, if at night, he still wears them when no ones around.

Good, cohesive episode today, though. The scenes really flowed with a good pace.

Maybe Cassandra and Jesse have dual amnesia because he is not her father. I hope it's just the characters using shorthand and not the writers actually thinking they're father and daughter.

This show doesn't have the scope, vision or frankly budget to tell this ripped from Taken story. It's not gripping, it's off-putting. I wish they could drop it quickly and move onto something else for everyone involved. But no, 3 more months (I'm assuming) of the rest of this story.

What what what is Julia Barr doing? She's gotten better but still, it's all so stiff.

I find almost every scene slow, dull and awkward. Yet I so want to love it.
