To avoid the disaster that has now befallen the show? Apart from anything else, it's a PR nightmare.

Michelle Stafford leaving is not "disaster" or a PR nightmare.

And Vee's post wasn't? I wasn't the one who brought up reanimating corpses.

No, your post was an attack on the energy of an 84 year old woman in the last years of her life. Vee's was a comment on ridiculous you sounded.

She's choosing to leave because TPTB won't give her what she wants.

And it's a PR disaster because it's given the anti-JFP psychos even more reason to hate on the show.

Ha, I love watching the Stafford fans have their collective nervous breakdown. Sony/CBS/JFP have no regrets. it is obvious that they all wanted MS gone. I don't even buy that she is leaving on her own accord, rather I think that they slickly fired her and shoved her out of the door.

The reply feature really has become a piece of [!@#$%^&*].

Correction: They didn't give MS what she thought she was entitled to.

Yes.

That's totally what happened.

Like dozens upon dozens of actors on soaps every day for 50 years or more. She's not that special or important.

Whatever you want to call it, they should've given it to her.

I seriously doubt that people are going to blame JFP for Michelle leaving. Again, Michelle is choosing to go. This ain't no Beverly McKinsey type situation circa 91/92 (on Guiding Light) where we're losing great Dame of daytime. Michelle delivers but her leaving ain't generating no disaster for Y&R.

I don't agree, but I respect your right to feel that way. We all have our favorites :)

JFP doesn't give a damn about haters.

Stafford clearly did not believe JFP's rep and paid no attention to what happened to CK when she tried to play hard ball. I bet the Y&R cast is taking note for when their contract negotiations come up.

Thank you. :)

MS leaving is not a PR nightmare. She left before the show was just fine.

She wasn't a lead then. She was a peripheral villain.
