Phil Johnston, whose recent credits include “Wreck-It-Ralph” and “Cedar Rapids” will pen the script, while Rudin will produce the family-themed comedy with Eli Bush. No other details, including casting, are available. --- I just know people around here are going to have something to say about this ... so comment away with your excitement, vitriol or complete indifference.
March 12, 201312 yr Member Florida was brought back to the show and her second husband was never mentioned again. The producer for the movie is good and the writer seems like a good choice, so depending on casting, it could be a good movie.
March 12, 201312 yr Member Sonya Eddy as Florida, she's got the sass and brass lol I wouldn't say Florida was known for "sass." I hate it when they try to adapt TV classics to the big screen. It's just laziness. These almost always suck.
March 12, 201312 yr Member I honestly don't see how they could make Good Times work in the present day. It was just so 1970s, every other episode could be played in a high school American history class.

March 12, 201312 yr Member They better not f*ck this up and make a mockery out of this legendary show. That's all I have to say. But can Hollywood do something original for once? Next they will be trying to All in the Family or Mary Tyler Moore for the big screen.

Other than the Brady Bunch movie, I don't know if any of the TV show to movies have been any good. Ok, Mission Impossible was a success. After that I got nothing. This movie will be awful just like all the others were.
