I think KS found JL a bigger threat than she wanted to admit. People -- some people, anyway -- acted as if certain actions Todd had committed with TSJ in the role were character assassinations of the highest order. Seriously? For instance, although I never liked him, I also never thought of RH's Todd as a preening manwhore. I never thought that he'd treat Starr like a poor relation. Needless to say, you can count me among those who was glad that the Real Todd Manning reclaimed his place so that Frodd could go back to whatever rock he crawled under.
