I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

Jamey Giddens already confirmed ABC refused to extend the rights to PP, plus they ignore the real issue MONEY

so yeah not happening. Plus AMC's rights reverted back to ABC in Sept....

This made me laugh so hard.

Jamey just said on twitter that the brands are hot again and ABC does want do something with them.

They'd be better off doing DVD's ala soap classics.

I don't see Cartini leaving GH, and if this did happen, I don't see alot of actors signing on after being burnt the last time

I don't understand what this means. Most of the contracts have expired, and I'm not sure how many of the actors would want to take that risk again. Are they just looking for more backers and putting this out to get attention?

I too think SuLu has moved on, as have like 95% of the AMC & OLTL actors.

I think AMC would be lucky to get maybe Bobbie Eakes & Sarah Glendenning lol

I'm not going down the Prospect Park rabbit hole again but If this is true I'm glad for the actors especially if they end up shooting in New York.
