Sean Kanan will be a Jason recast, we were told. He will take over the role seamlessly, as Jasons story if hot right now.

Jamey Giddens posted a replay in the DC blog post about Sean Kanan returning that Sean Kanan won't be a Jason recast.

Personally, I'm happy that he's going to be Jason. I hate the "return from the dead" story lines. At least Sean will be able to show some emotion with this character.

At least he has the look. I always thought they did perfect casting with SB and SK as brothers

The "returns from the dead" are the reason I didn't give AMC the time of day before it went off the air. I try to catch all finales, but when AMC became "The Walking Dead", I refused to watch. Didn't miss a thing.

I could see them making him Jason. I don't know how I feel about that. I'd much rather he be AJ back from the dead (and better written) to free up the opportunity if Burton wants to return for say, the end of the show?
