Ugh CK please stay away and let's kill off Cane for real this time, ok JFP?

OT: Was Mamie related to Dru and Olivia's father or their mother?

Mamie was related to their mother Lillie Belle, they were sisters.

it's happening, trust - Y&R's a ratings are slipping on a regular basis, and Dru is an 'event' character. Her return WOULD be an event, and Christel Khalil's departure is the kick off... :D I also believe Sheila (role reprised by Kimberlin Brown) will return, at some point.

Y&R gets WAY too much ratings (for a soap, at least) for the producers to just let it keep slipping, and eventually die... big things are gonna be happening, IMO.

It also seems to be true to what we assumed all along - Maria and her henchmen had no intention of bringing Jess back, despite what Maria and Jess herself were saying.

What happened to the new contract Jess signed before she went on leave? I'm hearing nothing about it now. The fact that JFP reached out to her means a lot more to me than Maria's empty words.

Fine then. I say keep CK and to her delight, pair her with this new African-American gentleman.

Then blackburner the couple, as you do.
