Members Angela
So sad. So talented and still, IMO, so young. Cancer My parents always loved Donna, so her music was in my houehold a lot growing up. This is the last song I remember from Donna. This was before I knew who Josh Duhamel was, so I remember it because I really liked her version of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URAKO3A0hOY

Members Angela
TMZ is reporting she had lung cancer and that she believed she contracted it from inhaling particles during the aftermath of the 9/11 attack in NYC. Members applcin
This shocked me like Davy Jones shocked me. I never heard she was sick. There's not many female singers I could single out that I enjoy listening to but she was one of them.

Members Khan
Agree. This is how we all need to remember Donna and send her out. She will be missed.
Members Y&RWorldTurner
Of course this #1 hit is a camp classic (as well as a soap classic due to it being used when Roger was chasing Rita around the hall of mirrors on GL). <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/yM7tzCEaTI0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I'll even forgive her for singing it with Westlife: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/hquYfo_UyeI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Members quartermainefan
Wow, how sad. She was such a huge figure of the 1970s and easily the best disco singer of them all. I don't agree with her belief she got it from 9/11. This and Davey Jones really tells me time is passing by.

Members MissLlanviewPA
I'm listening to "She Works Hard for the Money" right now. LOVE that song. RIP, Donna.
Members DaytimeFan
I am in shock, she was so young at 63 and had been performing strongly even a few months ago. I Feel Love, Love to Love You Baby, She Works Hard for the Money, Hot Stuff and Last Dance...part of the soundtrack of my life and so many others. Members DRW50
I'm so glad I got to talk about her with Eric over the last few years and learn so much about her and her music. Donna really was a beautiful woman with an incredible voice and incredible charisma. She changed music in a huge way, just because there had never been anyone like her. You can see so many of the pop queens of the last 30 years in her. And there never would be again. There was always a certain distance from her which you don't have with today's music names. It seems like so many music legends have passed away in the last six months alone. Here are some of my favorite songs of hers.
