I think NL is a decent actress, but her voice has always bugged me.

It's her right eyebrow that gives me fits. That thing has a life of its own.

I just don't find Tamblyn that good of an actress. She benefited from her father's Hollywood connections. The last few times I've seen her act she sucked

Russ Tamblyn. He was an actor, singer, dancer, choreographer. He made a number of musicals back in the days of Hollywood musicals.

Same here. I remember hearing it in promos back when she was first on the show (like when Emily was diagnosed with breast cancer), and thinking there was something weird about it. Even in her Emmy acceptance speech, where I thought she came across as a sweet girl, it's still kind of odd to listen to. She's from Georgia, though--I wonder if she was covering up/lost her southern accent and her voice sounded like that without it (actually, it almost sounds like she's trying to fight it back)?

He even appeared on GH and Joan of Arcadia. I just don't find AT anything being alright because I've seen her in too many roles where she was bad.

I liked her on Joan of Arcadia but I thought her performance on House was kind of odd. It felt like big chunks of dialog were missing or something.

A friend says she was very good in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. It's not something I'm likely to ever see.

Which is exactly why I'm waiting for this "new life" this guy and his boy toy head writer are supposedly bringing to this show. So far, it's same script, different cast- er... producers.

But Emily was killed off because NL wanted to leave( she basically admitted in I forget what soap rag that they didn't have anything planned for Emily) so like KMC recently she was working without contract for awhile, then she signed a short contract cuz they wanted her available to play that stupid ghost/tumor storyline.

they wrote her off bc she wanted to leave. They didnt have to kill her. That was just an excuse to further decimate the Q family which was pretty excessive by that point
