Ari Z was perfect as Nicole today Chandler is the true definition of a limited actor. All he does is cry, snot, sniffle & wipe tears (repeat) in all his scenes. He looks and acts like he's sickly & has an extreme cold. Touching moments with Marlena today, I thought he had a few moments of goodness but otherwise, pretty weak IMO. I loved how Marlena reacted to everything he was saying.

Crying is fine if done correctly. Will is a very troubled gay teen and I can see him crying a lot. He has been angry of course too. I remember the first time I was with a guy and liking it but after it was over I felt like Will did. But I didnt cry I said to myself it would never happen again but it did...lol...over and over..lol

I forgot to mention Sami should have been bitch slapped by Nicole considering EJ got pummeled by Rafe. Ya'll know if the roles were reversed Sami would have gotten in at least two.

I agree the scenes between Will and Marlena were touching but DH does that squinting thing with her eyes that drives me crazy. I can't recall her ever doing it as much as she does now.

I wish it was mentioned that Nicole and EJ technically werent together when he slept with Sami. Nicole had told him that they were over and she wasnt going to fall back into a relationship with him. He was wrong for not telling her, but she ended things, thus leaving him free to be with whomever. They hadnt even officially reunited when she "ended" things as they were already seperated but had a few booty calls with each other

Sami is a grade A bitch but it works much better than the stepford wife she became over the years. She should always be a character that you love to hate... and I do.

That's the problem, I don't love to hate Sami anymore. I don't even hate her. I just think she's a dumbass pig who needs to get off my screen, the writing is slaughtering her.

Lol yesterday totally made Marlena's day when Will told her he kissed a boy. The day he told her about EJ/Sami instead of that he was gay was the most disappointed I've ever seen Marlena...

Speaking of Marlena, I haven't enjoyed this character this much in years. DAYS has been smart by not constantly keeping her saddled to John. I can finally understand why she was considered one of the most loved characters on the show, and it doesn't hurt that Hall isn't nearly as hammy as she used to be acting wise.

Yeah, Noel was fired around this time 4 months ago and DAYS writes 4 months in advance. It's clear there were issues with Noel and M&D. Now the episode continuation is getting a lot better, stories are on for more than 2 episodes in a row, the tags are better and there seems to be a change in direction for some the stories. Some of the business stuff hasn't been shown much - like the new Basic Black, or the modeling stuff. I don't read spoilers so I don't know if those stories will be coming back or not - I'm hoping not.

As for the business stories, i think they have a place on days - as a backdrop. the corp stories shouldnt be about the business, but about the interactions and impact on personal lives.

Poor Marlena. My god, how much abuse can this woman take from Sami? Ive never been a fan but Im starting to feel and root for her. Sami beats her up at every corner, blames her for everything that goes wrong in her life and is an absolute bitch. She's far from perfect and she isnt a great mother but Sami's treatment of her is unjustifiable. I almost wish they would acknowledge that they have no relationship and wipe each other's hands clean of the other. I dont get any entertainment after Sami attacking her mother like a pitbull all the time. Grow the F up and get over it

Sami keeps trying this, Marlena keeps coming back. Sami lived without her for a huge portion of her life, if not the majority so its not like Sami cant do it.

The biggest problem with sami/marlena is there needs to be a balance to the nastiness and venom sami spews at marlena. marlena holding her as she cried the other day was great, actually.

This is BY FAR the best Marlena has been written since.. 1994? Seriously, she is in many different stories helping people out, she is dealing her own stuff, shes supporting will, shes finally sttempting to work on things with sami. THIS is the marlena I love and figured I would never see again. So glad shes back.

I'd totally agree with that statement. I'd say triple those IQ points for Austin & John. It seemed the only smart people during JER's run were his 3 witches of Salem who schemed and wreaked havoc on the town.
