Though I liked him on GL, I'm somewhat surprised that Frank Grillo (ex-Hart) has gone on to enjoy the success he's had. He's just signed to play the lead in "Navy St.," an original DirecTV series. He'll play the owner of a mixed martial arts studio. Apparently, he's an MMAer himself.

I was a little surprised by his post-GL success at first but he's so much better in these primetime and film projects than he was on GL. He has said that it was Wendy who understood the tone of a soap and could just go with it while he never really could. If you go back to his GL scenes, he was better in his scenes with her than with anyone else.

Tony Call (OLTL) seems to be doing a lot of narration work. I mentioned hearing him on Destination America's "A Haunting" but I'm also hearing his voice on the National Geographic channel.

caught sight of Jean Carol (Nadine GL) on HIMYM tonight. She has no lines, but she looks good. She's in the part about Robin at the cake shop. Right before James VanderBeek appears (an ex-ATWTer himself)

Ritchie Coster (GL) starred in tonight's excellent episode of The Blacklist. He'll star in next week's episode as well, the series' first two-parter.

A lot of that Supernatural episode was a mess, but Kim had a ton of stuff to do, more than I'd expected. I hope this means they will use her more often, or that some other show will see her talent and book her.

I know that Tequan is still on GH (if it weren't for the occasional guest spot, would we really have proof?) so he's not a former soap star or anything, he's current but I wasn't sure where to put this:
