PARAMOUNT TV's FIRST MOVIE TO STAR 2 FORMER SOAP ACTORS
Peter Porte (Ricky Williams, The Young and the Restless) and Juan Pablo Di Pace (Nicolas Trevino, Dallas 2.0) star with Andie MacDowell (Olivia Lockhart, Cedar Cove) in the first Paramount made for Television movie, Dashing in December to be aired December 13 on Paramount, POP, and TVLand. The holiday movie tells the tale of Wyatt (Porte) coming home to convince his mother (MacDowell) to sell the family ranch, only to fall in love with ranch hand Heath (di Pace). Both actors are openly Out and hope the LGBTQ+ story will encourage other networks to be inclusive in their storytelling. The cast also includes Katherine Bailess (Erica Marsh, One Tree Hill), Caroline Harris (Bruh), and Carlos Sanz (Victor Rodriguez, Another World).

Peter Porte's Ricky Williams was demolished by the writers on Y&R, but he's a decent actor and of course, Juan Pablo's role in Fuller House is better known than his time on Dallas 2.0.

Whenever I hear about Juan Pablo, I always think of this video. It's hard to forget!

Did anybody put Ricky on the list of regrettable killing off of legacy characters? The more I think about it, the more I think that Y&R really missed an opportunity for a viable LGBTQ storyline. Just think...the grandson of Mary Williams coming out and Paul wrestling with his conservative Christian upbringing and loving his son. Instead, viewers got... that story that ended up being the end of Ricky.

Let's be real, Mariah and Tessa never had a viable story involving their sexuality.

Lexi Ainsworth (Kristina Corinthos, GH) was on last Sunday's episode of SHAMELESS. She played a girl that wasted no time in having sex with Carl. Smart girl.

Shari Headley (AMC) returns in Coming 2 America with Eddie Murphy, reprising her role as his love interest turned queen. (Yes, she's in the trailer.)

I know it's going to pale in comparison to the first movie...but I'mma watch it anyway.
