Honestly, the best thing about the original miniseries was Sophie Okonedo's estimable performance but the rest of the Oz cast was fine.

I saw an ad for the U.S. version and nothing about it tempted me to watch. Nothing about Peter Sarsgaard screams son of Greek immigrants to me. From what I'm reading that is about the least of this version's problems.

I think he's playing Aisha's husband Hector, the son of Greek immigrants, who was played by Anthony LaPaglia in the Australian miniseries.

Although I haven't seen the U.S. version from what I read, Sarsgaard is playing Hector. I cannot fathom it.

The wonderful Tovah Feldsuh (ex-RH and as I best know her, John's lady love Dr. Bethany Rose on ATWT) joined the Walking Dead cast tonight.

I was excited to see her, I also loved her on Law and Order with Sam Waterson(?sp). They had a great banter between them.

She had no lines.

The role was tailor-made for her.

Reading my mind. I remember on OLTL, whenever she would side eye, I could hear "Whathoo talkin' 'bout Willis" in my head. Just from the looks, not her speech.

Alicia Coppola (Lorna, Another World) and Catherine Hicks (Faith #3, Ryan's Hope & Jeannie, Winnetka Road) are part of the documentary That Gal ...Who Was In That Thing on Showtime

Cornelius Smith Jr (ex-Frankie Hubbard, AMC) was apparently on last night's episode of Scandal. I haven't watched it and given the subject matter I wasn't sure that I was going to but for the chance to see that man again, I will. Oh yes, I will!

Apparently, she played a murder victim with bad taste in skirts.

Watched it. Hicks mentions that she's still recognized from RH. Coppola doesn't mention AW but might've and it was edited out.
