Mishael Morgan's "Chicago Med" character "Dr. Petra Dupre" works for the Dayton corporation that developed the hospital's newest surgery technology.  As you can see, her white doctor coat says her name on one front pocket - and the other front side of her coat says "DAYTON" and not the name of the hospital.

I don't know if Mishael's character "Dr. Petra Dupre" will be a regular on Chicago Med or not.  Maybe it was just to introduce this new surgery technology?  But I think she has to be in the operating room whenever it's used - so I don't know.   I guess it might depend on whether the hospital keeps the new surgery technology or not.

On Dec. 7, they aired the last episode before the Christmas break.  At the very end of the episode, in the last line, we learn that her boss - the Dayton corporation's CEO - has purchased the hospital, or will be the major shareholder, so he might try to be in charge in some way.  So maybe they will keep Dr. Dupre?
The next episode airs on Jan. 4, 2023.

Elise Neal (Janie, LOV) confirms what I've known for 25 years:

The original Scream 2 script leaked before its release in 1997. In that original draft, Elise Neal and Jerry O'Connell's characters were two of the main killers - they were psychos in love, modeling themselves after Juliette Lewis and Woody Harrelson's characters from Natural Born Killers and hoping to obtain fame and notoriety in the same way. It was a brilliant, forward-thinking twist with some great monologues for Elise, and I was one of the crazed fans who read it ahead of time online. The production then hastily rewrote the film to change the ending, give the film a much more obvious killer which weakens the third act of the movie, and has spent decades lying about it being a 'dummy script' since. But anyone who knows Kevin Williamson's work knows it was real. It should've stayed in, and I'm glad Elise has confirmed it.

Same.

Though he has already been in so many things I still see him as Dom.

And...I remember that Scream 2 script. But I loved the script that ended on a cliffhanger as well. And felt people would have lost this s#$% having to wait for Scream 3. Kevin really was trying to make his Empire Strikes Back and I wouldn't have hated on it at all.

This doesn’t exactly belong in this thread but honestly @Errol, I don’t know where to put this wonderfully affirming article about a newly constructed space in Harlem for BroSis, the 27 year old organization co-founded by Khary Lazarre-White, who I instantly knew had to be the brother of Adam Lazarre-White (Y&R Nathan Hastings #3).

Spellcheck is a trip. Sigh.

    • That happens sometimes on cbs/paramount. Just refresh the page and it should work.
    • In a 1997 SOD article, Ehlers mentions that she was asked to return several times, but was surprised she wasn't asked to return for her "mother's" funeral.  This was when she returned for the 60th Anniversary event.
    • Unhappy camper!

    • It seems obvious based on the initial material that Korte was going to take another foolish run at Jason and Carly a la 2021 and hoped Mulcahey being back would make it work, as he wrote such famous material for Steve, Sarah, etc. I think a couple good dialogue scenes came out of them together very early on, but there was never any denying that Steve and Laura have never had and will never have any romantic chemistry, plus the audience doesn't want it. So they pivoted to her with that useless dayplayer (Brennan) and now here they all are, spinning their wheels doing nothing of value on the show. I do think PM had planned to do much more with Jason's sons and that rivalry/friction, but once he was gone so was Jake. I've rarely seen any of the core mob 3 feel so totally extraneous and directionless on the canvas. Not that I mind. Anything that makes Jason easier to get rid of works for me.
    • I just edited the 1998 SOD Awards & Laura Wright won Best New Character for Cassie on GL. Also Philip & Harley won something of some name for them as a couple & when they finished saying their effusive thanks at the mic, Grant picked Beth up & literally threw her over his shoulder & walked backstage that way. I mean, it's great that Beth Ehlers is a good sport, right?

    • nothing. The story was put on the backburner while they focused on other stuff. I think thats one of the issues i have with the show in that it sometimes struggles with balance as stories will disappear for weeks and then reappear (Chelsea's throuple for example)
    • I HATED Infinity (I could care less about Kyle Sampson and his hanger ons and the dumb Lujack video, and Mindy and Kurt were strong armed into being a fave couple and married off way too soon (Jeva didnt get that big of a wedding.) I did like the Fishing Mystery (despite the changing of history..it was murky enough that it could be fudged) and the Cabin mystery started out good ..I thought Tony was hot and I liked Annabelle, it had supernatural elements but they did not overtake the story (i.e. Reva traveling through time..) and I love a gothic mystery.. however, it was bizarre that nosy Nola wasnt in the mix...she barely seemed interested that her sister in law was psychic, there may be ghosts in her brothers house, etc.  I don't know if there was a behind the scenes issue with Brown and Kobe, or if Long just wanst interested or felt tied up writing for Quola.  I would have had Quint blow up in the cabin instead of Hillary but..The big problem that the end result was...boring. Okay so there are black Spauldings..and they disappeared...so what now? Not only was J gross...(I can't believe the actor IS actually just as obnoxious as J) they made Chelle into an airhead horn dog going after her cousin. Yes, by adoption but still her cousin. I wondered why she was not calling Nola "Aunt" when she first arrived, and they barely acknowledge each other ( I would think Nola would glomb on to mothering her sister's daughter, especially with Stacy not in town, much to Ed's chagrin) but it was in service to...this??? Wait until Chele gets all horny for an angel...oyyyy! No one else in town reacted to Nadine's death,, cause Deas had to have his big dumb over the top reaction scene to Deenie's death. I can't imaging watching that scnene and thinking he was a good actor!

I know, I'm getting the sense they expected Beaty to stay if they were going the rehabilitation route with Abby. A few weeks ago, when Michelle was dressing sexy for her date with J, she let Abby try on a dress and Rick then taught her what dating was like, and she went in and kissed him. They were clearly setting up the Abby/Rick story, but then suddenly it has pivoted to Rick falling back in love with Annie and trying to convince her not to go to Josh since he and Reva are secretly meeting at the cabin (Annie is getting unhinged here). But with Rick focused on Annie again, it would have left room for Abby to work with Brent, had Beaty stayed (at least this is what I'm assuming based on what I'm seeing). Rick is also now in Blake's orbit - they both just got in a bar fight post-Ross/Amanda kissing and Annie rejecting Rick's advances. They're together and Blake is now coming onto Rick while they drink... uh oh.
    • She is truly in such a delusional state that it's hard to know what's true but I'm sure there are some easter eggs in there. I am very curious to see how they utilize Leslie now that everybody knows who she is. If they do go with a connection to Anita in someway that would definitely be interesting. Anita was the first and only person so far that Leslie seemed intimidated by.
