I was hoping to see Tom Pelphrey in the teaser too. Not sure how big his part is, though.

Noemi Gonzalez, who played Mia Rosales on Y&R, is now on Netflix's Selena series.

She speaks out on body image and her experience on Y&R:

"I loved Mia. I would play her again, but only if I time traveled to the โ€˜80s when there was no social media. Because what I do not miss about portraying Mia is being bashed and ridiculed publicly for not being skinny, manufactured, or white enough for the soap opera demographic."

I'd love to know the economics of these types of stunts.ย  Does he get a cut of the photos that are sold or is he playing the long game of keeping his name in the press to attract future casting agents?

Good question. I have no idea, but I hope whatever he's doing does not pay off in the long run.

The Tony nominations were announced today. Eric Nelsen (AJ Chandler) got nominated for producing The Inheritance. He's already won this year's Drama Desk Award for producing it.

I will never forget how relentlessly he was mocked on a certain soap opera podcast as part of overall spirit of derision lobbed at the TOLN soaps. Well, I can expect that the podcast's accompanying blog will breathlessly report his latest achievement while quickly seeking to connect him to the same soap whose work they once derided.ย  Well, I guess he's having the last laugh now.

Murray Bartlettโ€™s (ex-Cyrus, GL) next project is an HBO limited series created by Mike White (Enlightened) opposite Connie Britton and Jennifer Coolidge. Alexandra Daddario (ex-Laurie, AMC) also stars.
