This Cole does look like Brandon Buddy in the face (or what Buddy looked like a few years ago). Good casting.

That scene where Viki first sees Megan was such a nice moment. Sometimes I wish they did the show without any dialogue at all.

Was John Wesley Shipp trying for some type of Louisiana accent?

I see Eddie still looks like he wants to make out with the Fords.

I feel exactly the same way. I made sure to take the day off of work. it's going to be a day filled with emotions because Today Show is giong to have a big celebration for their 60th anniversary with old anchors comming back (like Barbara Walters, Hugh Downs and Jane Pauley) so I really need the whole day to take it all in. even The View special should be both fun to watch but sad that it's a final farewell. Then of course the final episode will be happy and sad.

Leaving Llanview is something i never thought i'd do. especially leaving Viki but then i have to remind myself that one of us has to leave and i'd rather it be like this...me leaving while everyone is happy then something happening to Erika Slezak and having Viki either die or be recasted. that would be even harder i think. At least this way i can always picture everyone in the Llanfair being happy for the rest of their lives.

I know Melissa Archer isn't always popular for her dramatic acting but I thought she did a very good job in this episode - the scenes with her over Viki's body were very emotional.

So are Megan and Gabrielle there to convince people to accept death? Why wasn't Luna doing the same?

I don't think Crystal Hunt ever would have worked on a regular basis, mostly because of her acting style, but she was good today with JvD.

I wish they'd mentioned the old days of Gabrielle denouncing God. I like the idea of "angel" Gabrielle doing whatever she wants and defying her role, and as always, she's such a minx, God can't resist giving her another chance.

I was waiting for her to turn into a demon and take Bo to Hell. Not that he deserves to be there cause he totally don't. But, wow...She was a very horny angel. Is this Muslim heaven but with non-virgins (cause we sure know she wasn't one of them.) Haha!

Alright people just get over it -- I hate Ford but the whole "rape" thing is just ridiculous, even if she was actually physically 17 - it's her right and will to have sex with whoever she wants. It's gross and even illegal in some places, but the banter is just ridiculous. If it were a 17 year old boy and a cougar going after him, no one really bitches that much. It's like a twisted form of sexism... sorry all. If Jessica thought she were 13 or 14, it would be another story.

Luna, Gabrielle, and Megan were nice to see - but honestly, Max should have been back for this. It just makes sense!

Also, I agree - Stacy this time was much better... HOWEVER, I honestly believe that it was the blackhole of Rex and Gigi that destroyed her character... I think in other conditions, especially scheming with Kim, she wouldn't have been that bad. But I tend to like those characters - I liked Jen Rappaport for most of the time, especially towards the end.

Okay I think too much time is being spent on Ford, and Cole to a lesser extent, I just wish they would both die. Marty also should have been back - and saved the day (saving John and Natalie would have been a nice redeeming thing, like Lindsay saving Nora).

I MISS THE GANNONS =(

The story never would have been told in the first place. This is a headwriter who has repeatedly told stories about how it's hot and good fun to have sex with a mentally ill woman who has no idea who she is or who thinks she's underage, and how a man who does this is noble and special.

Gigi/Rex killed many characters. Beyond that I think the show had no real idea whether she was supposed to be good or bad, and she let a boy (her nephew no less) wither away for what seemed like months. Today she was facing off with someone who was also depraved and damaged, and they were sparring back and forth. It was much more suited for her.

Honestly, to me it's less about this and more about the writer's way of playing fast and loose with history, much of which he wrote himself, and bending over backwards to make this character "happen".

It helped that Crystal Hunt was paired with JVD, an actor who knows what he's doing. JPL and Farah Fath are the biggest reasons why I can't stand Rex and Gigi. They even sucked the life out of Scott Clifton. That, and it helps that Stacy was only back for today and in hell along with Eddie. Though some of the characters on the show are even more unbearable. It would have been funny if Stacy made some bitchy comments about Clint choosing Viki over her darling Kimmy.

I'm disappointed I didn't get to see NASH torture Ford, but I guess that wouldn't have been as fitting. Those tweets from RC made it obvious that they're still sugarcoating everything Ford did to Jessica.

I didn't find Gabrielle trying to seduce Bo offputting, but then again I almost never get offended even when I should. It was a nice nod to her history.

I wish Dorian had been on today. She could have been there to at least help save Viki and Clint. Or Bo, since Troy gave up and walked out (love Troy though). I even think the idea of Dorian getting shot and going to heaven before recovering would have worked well too.

    • I don't know.  The animosity seems to be more recent than the mid 80s.  When Maggie was a victim of the Salem Stalker i remember reading an interview with Suzanne where she said they aired the episode(s) surrounding Maggie death in a theatre and made a big deal about it.  Suzanne was very upset about being fired and Dee comforted her and said that they were making such a big deal about it because it was Suzanne/Maggie.  I cannot find the article but I will keep trying. That said Suzanne's comments on Soapy about how some of the female cast members treated her during her illness was disappointing to hear to say the least.
    • Anyway... Kristen should have a prison lesbian story arc. And then come out and become obsessed with Marlena so we can move her on from the Brady nonsense. Is that secret room still in the DiMera mansion?
    • Oh, wow... where can I find this interview?
    • I'm really liking Izaiah and Eva so far. And why can't I help but feel that something might happen to make Jessica stay in Fairmont Crest permanently?
    • So Pam didn't create her? I thought she had the whole of 87-88. I'll look around, thanks for the point in the right direction.

date: Tuesday, November 18, 2025 | Jamey Giddens, Danielle Paige | Steven Williford Samantha, accept the fact you were in the wrong and do not deserve your digital devices. Do not like it? Go upstairs. Read a book. Do some knitting. Bradley and Martin's "we get it" to Tyrell was hilarious and absolutely a parent's thing to do. Loving a bit of history of both the Duprees (via Eva) and the Hawthrones (via Izaiah). So cute. Poor June. I am sure she did not purposefully mean to mess up; we have all been there working in customer service. Shake it off and keep on keeping on! Not twice a week for Vernon's cobbler order... Sharon must be using that as payment for their meetings. I appreciate that Ted still cares about the Duprees despite the end of his marriage to Nicole. Not Dana using Peaches' crisis as a way of taking Ted's attention away from a co-worker. Girl, do not be so obvious. Bradley is a man after my own heart with a simply divine chocolate milkshake. That is the way to go. Dana really needs to dial it back. Money will not buy her everything she wants and she will realise it soon enough. And I doubt Shanice is scared off by her idle threats, either. "With all due respect, Ms Thomas, this isn't a shopping mall." Oh, Dr Wilkes just owned Dana's arrogant ass. I love it. Wigs and personas? Okay now, Shanice ate with that read. I like that June assured Bradley that she will not replace him or Martin in the twins' lives. And that blood does not make a parent. Words never rang more true. Jessica reading Samantha was amazing. Dana would want to involve Ted. Her obsession is crossing beyond dangerous boundaries. Not Dana catching Vernon leaving Sharon's room at the country club. That is not good. Not good at all! Notes: Ugh. Not another breakdown from writer2. This week was going so well. Thankfully, Paige is an outstanding scriptwriter (one of this soap's best), and her words today are excellent. The food at Orphey Gene's does look bomb, so I do not blame any of the characters for uptalking it. I would eat there daily if I could. And gain hundreds of pounds, too. David Lami Friebe (Izaiah) continues to make me sick watching him, but he is nice to listen to. I still really like having June as the central person hub at Orphey Gene's. That familiar face you see when you walk in and have scenes. Dana wanting a second opinion means we could have an incoming doctor, right...?

    • I am sure "no one cares" and it's not a big deal to some people, but this thread is full of certain posters calling out women's ages, their viability to have children at like 35, and their nail polish, but we celebrate everything Chandler Massey does and applaud any male shirtless scenes.  And then posters walk back being like it's just a joke and weren't serious lol.
