David Rupel is not under contract at GH: here's his facebook wall post today:

DVR alert - and no, it's not a secret episode of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." As season 2 of RHBH ended, I was very fortunate to have a six week stint writing breakdowns for "General Hospital." It came and went much too fast, but I had a blast doing it and it reminded me of how much I love the daytime genre. If you are or ever were a fan of GH, now's the time to tune in - the show is firing on all cylinders! Oh, and my first episode airs Monday, March 12!

Elizabeth "$200 Haircut" Page? Mediocre dialogue.

So, Toups: inquiring minds want to know why Greg Meng has FB friended in recent days: Passanante, Trent Jones, Ron Carlivati and Scott McKinsey....is he shopping for new writers?

  • Member

Scott McKinsey is a director, does Days need any new ones?

  • Member

Maybe he is just adding fellow friends in the business.

I think Passanante would be more likely to join GH, given her past association with Carlivati and Valentini. Trent Jones, OTOH...? That could be interesting.

Um, Toups, you're missing one episode in the 2012: B&B topic on Episode Writers and Directors. It aired 19 episodes in March, not 18; you're missing March 30.

Yeah, I know. I'll edit it this weekend when I watch the March 30 episode. But it's good to know someone is looking at the list in case I make mistakes. :)

So will Days now be reversing most of the writing changes of the past year?

Fran Myers, Michelle Poteet Lisanti, Lisa Seidman, Janet Iacobuzio back?

Janet Iacobuzio, just like David Kreizman, must give great head.

To quote Sarah Palin: "You betcha!" Of course I haven't heard anything yet but I think I'll definitely have material for ITWR for the next couple of months.
