I like this version of Jason Quartermaine. Burton was actually trying today as opposed to Friday.

I think GW has as big of a hard on for Jaysus as Guza did/does

Um, I'm not getting that impression. Jason's going to be on the front burner regardless of who's writing the show. Seems to me like GW is just trying to do something interesting with the character.

I agree.

This diffuse glow they're using is so tacky, blah.

And I didn't realize how much I missed Alan's presence, killing him off was really one of the dumbest moves ever.

Why have 3 different women dream of HIM of all character's this could happen too? Why even have him have ANOTHER accident which is nothing but a plot device then?

LOL...4 different women

Because they are important people in his life? Sam is his fiance, Carly his best friend, and Elizabeth the mother of his first child. And yeah the accident was an uncreative plot choice but his brain damage from the first one is an important part of the character, and this is an easy way to explore how his life and other characters lives would be different had it not happened or the outcome been different, which I find interesting.

I know the point I'm about to raise is just wishful thinking on my part. But isn't Jason not supposed to remember anything about the accident? Shouldn't he not have had that memory of the immediate aftermath of the car crash?

Tracey: "You know, I always knew your son was a garden variety Quartermaine. Actually, he's weaker than some. My children were never addicts"

Jason: "Not that you know of"

Tracey: "Dont try to shift blame. You're the one that got your hand caught in the cookie jar"

Monica: "My son is in a crisis and you're standing their gloating. You really are a miserable shrew"

Tracey: "Shut up Monica. This is a long time coming and I am going to enjoy ever stinking minute of it. Did you really think you could raise a pillar of virtue? You slept with half the staff at GH. You drove your poor husband to drugs and you lie like Jason. However I do give him points bc he owns his vices. He doesnt go around whining that its someone elses' fault"

Really? OMG I can't wait to see this exchange. So. Bang. On. Tracy has had the crap dumped on her by St. Monica for decades, and turn around is a long time coming.

Of course, this is Monica's fantasy, so she really believes that of herself - even better.

Tracey was AWESEOME in that exchange. She completely owned Monica there

Let loose, Tracy pretty much owns everyone. It's much better to be on her side.

I love Power Tracy. Pathos Tracy just isn't as entertaining.

These dreams were a complete waste of time. And after all was said and done, a huge WTF when Monica said that if she had a choice she wasn't sure she would change Jason's accident. Gee.. way to pay homage to a killer, Garin. rolleyes.gif

I knew Steve was beefed out but since he's out of black the dude looked enormous, especially when compared to earlier footage.

Lol at the random Jason/Robin flashback towards the end of that Jason montage. Way to throw the JaRob fans a bone, GH! LOL. Robin was my second fave of Jason's loves next to Elizabeth ;-).

I guess the point to the dreams is that Sam is the only one who understands Jason (she was the only one who didn't try to change him in the dreams) & can be with him, everyone else needs to just accept him for who he is & give up hope that he'll be who they want him to be. Ugh. I guess true, but I still hate it! Kudo's to GW for establishing that and using Jason's deep history to his advantage!

And characters were killed needlessly… Trevor Lansing still had so much potential, even more than AZ, as a truly ruthless villain… and the hospital was practically stripped.

I absolutely loved Trevor Lansing and ITA with you about him as a villain! *sigh*

The Zacchara/Corinthos/Lansing drama was the only stuff I cared about during the biotoxin crisis, tbh. Anthony Zacchara rocks!
