Fortunately the show never referenced it again. Watching what they are doing with Jax it just brings home that as bad as he's gotten it he is still not in AJ's league. I knew AJ. AJ was a friend of mine. Jax, you are no AJ!. I wish they would bring him back, either AJ would be fine.

Awesome line I'm using it in my fan fiction (I'll give you credit) LoL but IA Lucky was a whipping boy until JJ came back in the role then he ascended to sainthood...the writing was so proLucky and he got a plethora of material to siphon off an emmy reel. Now I guess he will again be flawed...how much Jason asskissing he does in the future I guess depends on how Wolf will write Jason....will he continue Guzastyle or actually write Jason under the bus a few rounds...that depends on how much autonomy he'll have from Frons/Phelps. With a change on their writing team maybe Jason will be written to be soapy.

I thought AJ did try to snuff Jason once I thought it played out during the Dr. Thomas storyline when Jason was in the hospital or something (I could be wrong history has been muddled on this show so bad I get confused.)

Sam didn't take Liz's kid she watched (Jake) get kidnapped then hired thugs to pull guns on them.(Jake/Cameron)..she said it was a lapse of judgment and all was well. She didn't try to jump off the roof except as a hero, she didn't get called out by the town....nobody knew...they kept it under wraps.

I guess it's just me because I thought VM has just been average and she continues to make strange acting choices. Last year it was the insane hyena cackling and now she pauses, inappropriately smiles, and then pause again in mid sentence even when she's upset. It's just bizarre. IR however has really been fantastic. When he told Sonny that he was too much of a coward to come at him like a man instead of hiding behind the mediator and drugging him I knew that was Gavin. The AJ references and the line about placing flowers on Josselyn's early grave was also little nuggets of gold. And Brenda is wrong because not everything is about Carly. Everything has always been about SONNY and that will never change for Sonny. He loved ruining Jax under the guise of helping Carly and she befitted from it. And even when Brenda is right they couldn't have her tell Sonny what a jackass he really is and left since they inserted all that rubbish about their relationship and history. Why the hell did she go back to Sonny after the conversation with the barracuda? He exit could have been great instead it's just more Sonny and Carly propping.

And how egotistical is Liz? She tells Lucky that Siobhan is trying to make him choose between she and the kids and she wishes she would because she, Siobhan, would lose. Liz hasn't been likeable since she boinked Nicholas and not even the death of Jake made her sympathetic. And Siohban need to get on the fastest plane back to Ireland.

GH continues to suck.

I have noticed this. I don't think it fits at all when she is angry and I completely agree with you on that. I think what I get from it is that she doesn't want to be mad at Sonny, so she yells first and then she calms down and tries to smile it out and tell him how she feels. It could be that she is attempting to construct frustration, anger and sadness and that's why she does those smiles and pauses. I think it would work better if there was a forced plastic quality to those smiles instead of the warmth that she displays with them. I know some people who smile when they are livid and they do it to try to mask the emotion they are feeling. So maybe that's what she is trying to do. Smile so Sonny doesn't get defensive and try to get Sonny to really hear her. I do agree that it is a confusing technique though and it's very easy to not get her message through the screen. But the material actually helps her.

    • Are these new?! Damn, he is in the prime of his life.
    • He is a 40 year old large grown man "raising his voice" and calling a teenage girl "careless".  That's inappropriate.  I am not going to argue at the octave of his voice although I would consider it yelling.  Felicity was visibly upset.  She also has special needs, but it would be wrong to do that to anyone in general.  Xander was out of line.  He didn't immediately apologize or admit he was wrong until Princess Sarah was okay.  Idk, go find your wife's epipen instead of berating a young girl.  Or, you know, Sarah could have asked if there was any pistachio in her scone as a pre-caution.  That's how most people with allergies that severe order things. I do think this story or plot point is silly, but acting like Xander did nothing wrong is just strange.  Even if Felicity DID do something wrong was he just going to continue to go on and on while his wife was going into shock?  That's the proper reaction lol.
    • I didn't get that so far so I'll have to keep that in mind if I ever pick back up.  I must have chosen bad episodes because what I saw had some really bad Irish accents from supporting/day players. They were hard to get through and I just didn't have the patience to deal with them. I don't think these accents would be allowed to go through today. I assume these accents were ironed out as the show went on--reminded me of Deas's terrible accent on GL that was dropped because it was so bad.

    • It's shoddy journalism. Pretty much says all you need to know about Parade as a source.
    • It could still be possible.  Ashley could know who her dad is, but her mother stating that her father was a ruthless man so she opted to listen to her mom and kept her distance. It also could be a change in storyline direction since we're now approaching the period of episodes being filmed when the show debuted. The actress playing Ashley posted an IG two weeks ago with her saying she got to work with new characters and old time favorites.  So I do wonder if some new details will emerge between Episode 51 and whatever she was filming at the end of April.
    • He didn't scream. He accused her of being careless in a slightly raised voice. Then he immediately admitted he had overreacted.
    • I really don't like Joey. Please get that disaster off the screen. Leslie going off like that finally let everyone see exactly who she is. She said she has more surprises up her sleeve which reinforces my thoughts that she knows something about Martin.
