Haven't really enjoyed Lulu since she & Johnny broke up but this story has actually swayed me a bit with her. IDK what it is exactly but I'm liking her and Dante both. I love this strange story & admire Lulu's quest to find her father. And I think Kurt Caceres (Javier) is a nice addition to the show, I wish there was some way he could stay. I think I'm in the minority on this.

I was wondering why you werent over here doing cartwheels and backflips. Its almost as if someone lied to you about her airdate and then arranged for you to be away to avoid your gushing....lol

In other words, it shows you just how irrelevant those scenes are if they can air them out of order than originally intended and it not affect anything within the next 2 weeks

Lol at this tweet from Ingo Rademacher (Jax) about that last scene from Thursdays GH.

That was the worst editing ever in that last scene today. I give the emotional performance of my life and it gets destroyed in the edit. thx

Didn't even think about that, I feel bad for him. Jax was going insane out there but all we could do was hear it because the show had to focus on that mediator calling the cops. They should've did a split-screen of the two.

Fuck a split screen. Jax is who this is about. There's no excuse for that scene closing out on a tag of Yang. We all know she's lying. We all know exactly what she's lying for. It's Jax whose emotions should've been the sole focus of that scene. I believe it was ruined intentionally to keep the audience from viewing Jax as a victim of Sonny's machinations.

He was probably watching to see his work, thinking that he gave all he could and wanted to see the end result... and wound up with a smack in the face.

I thought I remembered reading that Maurice was unhappy with how this arc made Sonny look and that Sonny would never do something like this so its likely they cut Jax's scenes because again the king has spoken. So much for GH changing. That cut scene can't be blamed on Guza. It was edited long after he left.

JMB/Lulu again tanking another story shocking and Dante is proving just how worthless a character he is IMO. Funny that I actually liked the actor and character at one time. Now he just seems pointless. AS for keeping Javier, Lupe, whoever, GH has obsessed with newbies for years, when the fascination over

an actor and character takes precendence over story and I can't think of one thats actually been worth it and it ends up dimishing the original story when they do this(Lisa case in point). How about they actually for a change let a story arc play out as planned. This cast is already bloated, they have few vets to speak of in any capacity except drunken Luke and Tracy Spencer.

I would agree the Monica scene didn't push any story forward but explain to me how many of the 6 months worth of Jason/Sam scenes or scene 303848 with PAtrick and Robin again excusing poor victim Liz of almost killing 2 patients have advanced any story. I am not advocating putting Tracy and Monica frontburner but they can add value. OLTL while a piece of garbage for the most part I think does a great job of intergrating their vets while not taking the spotlight away from who the story is about. And their canvas is not "filled" with longterm vets. GH could take a lesson. I am not crazy about Monica coming back to find out about Jake, that story should have fully played out by now, but it was a nice scene and was so much better than the "acting prowess" of TG and JJ.

    • This episode was probably the most we've ever seen of Jan.. and it took long enough. The phone conversation between Jan/Ashley also shed light on their backstory.. and I think it explains why Ashley seems to live in a dreamworld and why she's having difficulties with living with Derek.  Derek could be doing everything right and Ashley would still have a problem because she was an only child, didn't see her mother model positive male/female interactions, and sounds as if she was alone a lot of the time. Nicole is modeling healthy human behavior and she would be smart not to listen to Dani's advice... well intentioned as it is. Eva is the character you root for because she's suffering the consequences of her actions.  And if I were Eva, I wouldn't want to be part of the Dupree world.   I'm hoping the Doug/Joey scenes today is signaling that we're finally moving to the next stage of this story... Doug either asking Vanessa for the money, or letting Joey have dibs on Vanessa's business books, etc.   And Joey finally showing his true colors makes me think we might be approaching that next stage of this story.
    • Lord have mercy!!! Not SilkPress vs Eva at Oprhany Gene for everyone to see!!!! Though I loved Vernon shading SilkPress. I continue to love all this fallout.   Is THAT Joey's endgame?
    • WAIT!!?  You don't want to know CM's workout secrets?  And a recap of his insta feed?  What's wrong with you?   Anyhow, today's show had good character moments.  I feel like Sonny/Laura brought it down.  I really like Tracey and Jason scenes so I think I am a weirdo.  Carly/Lulu were actually pretty good as well, but Carly's dress was some sort of bondage/leather type situation?  It was a strange wardrobe choice lol.
    • Oh God When are we gonna see this on BTG?
    • Yeah, I don't really love Felicity being used to push the Chad/Cat agenda.  I don't get the question on Xander's behavior either.  He was wrong and offensive. I like Xander.  I think Paul Telfer is great.  If Marlena did the same thing I would say she's wrong too.  Characters are imperfect and that's fine.
    • Vanessa told Joey that her best friend had cheated and has a surprise daughter.  Joey said the same had happened to him.  I wasn't sure if Joey was saying he has an adult out-of-wedlock child?
    • Interesting. I definitely think that it's possible that Jan could be a former lover of Joey's from back in the day, maybe back when he was still married. I won't be surprised if it comes out at some point that Jan used to be an escort or something.
    • Quick question, How are you guys making time to watch all these soaps? I consider myself a pretty organized person, but since I have committed to watching more of the older soaps. I feel all over the place, and can not figure out a schedule that seems to work.  How are you all doing it?   Thanks. I will check that out.
    • Oh, poor Henry had to wait for the grave to finally come "out"! The whole things was McTavish plot dictated so that Hart could have money to pull off his scam of Roger later. The fortune is totally forgotten later. Which reminds me WHY did they fire Hilliard who actually could kinda pass for a midwestern farm boy..from JOISEY Grillo? AM and Lucy's wedding has got to be the weirdest wedding up to that point and really exemplified the McLaiby cheesy run. Universal Studios? And the Spauldings shut the place down for the wedding that only involves 6 people??? Its not even that weird that Bridget and David arent there...they didn't even invite AM's Mom or Grandfather...
    • It seems easy to be empathic that if a random man raised his voice to me at the mall today, I would not be appeased if he later went and apologized to my sister. I like giving the character more to do, because there is a value in representing a person with a congenital disorder being employed, given that the unemployment rate in that community tops 83%.  I just hope they find a voice for the character that matches her functioning ability.  As for Cat, I wonder if she is going to inherit any of Clyde's money?  And that was the reason for the phone call.  I know he's not dead, but he could have named her family as the beneficiary of some insurance policy if he were to be incapacitated.  And the call could have been an attorney trying to reach her to give her money.
