I don't know the actor sitting with Wanda, but I think that memorial might have been for Vinnie, not Jim Craig.

Found the first article in a March 6, 1981, newspaper re Vinnie's death.

Nat Polen died in May 1981.  Found the second article in an August 22, 1981 newspaper.

It appears that Jim Craig's death wasn't commemorated on-screen.  Found the third article in an August 2, 1982, newspaper.

@slick jonesDon't know whether you already have this name, but a real priest, Father George Moore, appeared as the priest for Vinnie's funeral.

A couple of questions following on from those articles posted.

How much longer did Anna remain on the show? Like her husband, Anna just faded away, but do we have a final airdate?

In the synopsis 'Richard and Betty separate'. Who is Betty?

Thanks to everyone for all the information. For years I thought OLTL was set in "Landview" until a scene where Viki and Joe register at an inn, and the hotel register clearly shows "Llanview, Pa." That may have been around the time that Viki had to choose between her two husbands. I was not familiar with the Welsh influence in that part of Pennsylvania.

But then, thanks to the mushy diction of the young actors on Y&R, I thought that show was set in "General City"! Several years later I read something about "Genoa City."

Speaking of Richard and "Betty" (Becky Lee), I thought Jill Voight was an absolute delight and that she and Richard were an adorable couple. JV had a genuine Southern accent of the slightly nasal variety, what linguists call the "Inland South" accent. I liked Mary Gordon Murray well enough as the recast Becky Lee with all the rough edges gone, but Jill Voight was one of a kind.

When Cassie and Rob first met and their storyline began, which actress (Cusi Cram or Ava Haddad) was playing Cassie?

I really liked Ted Marceaux as Rob.  I like Mark Arnold (Rob #2), but I think that Mr. Marceaux was better.   I have been suprised that his career has not been bigger since leaving One Life to Live.

    • Thanks @P.J. If my math is correct, Jordan Clarke runs were 1983-1987, 1989-1993, 1997-end.
    • I was/am mainlining both the Dream Season and Season 7 of KL together, since that was the year of their big creative swap. That's the most I can take of Dallas consecutively. But I've been very preoccupied with other shows and work IRL and I need to get back to it after a long break from my Knots binge.
    • Wk 1 95/96 MSW moves to Thurs, Cybill takes the Sunday slot. Thurs 8-9pm NBC Friends #3 20.5/33 The Single Guy #6 19.2/30 CBS Murder She Wrote #55 9.3/15 ABC Charlie Grace #74 7.6/12 FOX Living Single # 78 7.2/12 The Crew #80 7.0/11 Sunday 8-9pm NBC Mad about You # 15 14.6/23 Hope & Gloria #35 11.7/18 ABC Lois & Clark # 38 11.4/18 CBS Cybill #49 9.8/15 Almost Perfect #65 8.1/12 FOX Space Above & Beyond (2nd hr of 2hr episode) #51 9.5/15 60 Minutes was #19 so a lot of viewers didn't stay for Cybill. On Sunday, Sept. 24, CBS finished third on the night, and its performance among 18 -49 year olds was worse than it was with the older skewing Murder, She Wrote in the time period last year.  So moving MSW was a foolish move at that point. It was compatible with 60 Minutes and would probably have finished Top 20-25 for the week. They should have left Sunday alone and concentrated on other nights..
    • I’ve been watching Knots and FC rather compulsively for a while now. Currently in fall 1983 with both. I had Dallas in there, too, but I am rather shocked at how stale that show gets after Jock’s death. Meanwhile, I can spend hours in the vineyards and in the cul-de-sac.
    • What will actually change though? Does this mean the sets will be different too? Or how exactly is this gonna look like to the viewers?
    • I'm not sure Passions is the model to emulate here.
    • Passions had Chad sleeping with his cousin nephew Vincent, ironically played by Daphne Duplaix (disguised as Valerie)

    • @Errol confirmed JFP is back in a non-producing role.
    • Same tbh. His brother got all the attention as he got older and hotter but Eric I like best. I need to get back to this show.
    • *watching season 5* Me: “I wish they did more with Eric, he’s so cute and sweet.” *Eric slaps the piss out of Diana* Me: “Godddddd, I love Eric!!!!”
