Members SoapDope
I don't know why I was thinking about this, but what ever happened to Lucinda's adopted daughter Bianca ? She was a friend to Courtney, then she disappeared by the mid 90's. I stopped watching ATWT by 1999. The death of writer Douglas Marland in 1993 made the show fall into the crapper.
Members P.J.
I thought she either worked at the UN, or she ended up going back to Montegaand helping with relief efforts like Frannie and Sabrina.
Members Dax7000
When did Lisa buy the Lakeview? I don't recall her owning it prior to 2001.

Members DRW50
Was that the one that Oakdalian also had up (I remember that as being one of the only early 80s ATWT I saw for a long time)? I always remember that unfortunate Natalie recast. ATWT had a tradition of unfortunate recasts for pointlessly returning characters.
Members Paul Raven
Just quickly ffed through. Some observations The sets and lighting look much improved from the 1979 Soap Classic eps. Shorter scenes, more characters and movement throughout the episode. Not sure about Larry B's choice to play blind as having a stoop and staring into people's chests. Would a person who had only been blind a short time develop that habit? The tripping on the stairs looked a little clunky. Way too many new women on the show, most of whom didn't hang around long. This was Mary Ellis Bunim EP? Who was writing at that time?
Members DRW50
Wasn't this strike material? I also see that hospital gift shop. Sad. And there's Annie made up to look like Jacquie Courtney, even though she was supposed to be in her early 20's... Her 1993 exit was going to the UN. I'm not sure after that. I know Liz Hubbard said she had to ad-lib Sabrina's existence in later years.
Members Soaplovers
Oddly, I think Carol and Steve go well together. The blonde lady that was with Dana Delaney... she obviously didn't last long since she wound up on the Christian Soap Another Life within months (playing a goody goody). Did anyone back than comment that the actress that played Lyla looked younger than the two actresses playing her daughters?
Members All My Shadows
I believe so. It was a pretty murky off-the-air copy but then the same episode was released on the first DVD set, sans opening titles, which is from where this upload comes. I watched it years ago but haven’t pulled my ATWT DVDs out in a while.
Members Khan
If they didn't, they should've. Anne Sward looks like their sister, not their mother. Janet Zarish's haircut was...unfortunate. Edited June 16, 2018 by Khan
Members DRW50
I thought Anne was believable as mother to Margo and Craig, but Lisa Loring had a very hard face.
Members soapfan770
I was watching a 1994 episode the other day and Lucinda had called to check-in on Bianca who apparently was out clubbing in NYC. BTW, regarding the 1981 episode what did people think of Steve and Carol being together? If I recall right, she became James' mistress and then later was gunned down by a goon working for James and Mr. Big. I know McLeod is often cited as an example of how Another Life hired "actual soap actors" in 1982 to help propel the show. Other than a recurring role as a doctor on Y&R in the mid-90's McLeod didn't have any other daytime roles. Members adrnyc
I watched the episode above in late 2016 as I embarked on my journey to watch every episode of ATWT in order that I could find on YouTube. I treasure seeing high-def episodes from the time period - it helps get just a little feel, at least, of what the show was like then. I love seeing anything I can with MC's Margo. I've still not really taken to HBS as Margo. ED *is* Margo, as far as I'm concerned but MC's Margo intrigues me a lot! It's fun to see Bob/Kim/John/Lisa/Lyla in earlier days of the show (not as early as 60s/70s of course) and to see a bunch of characters that I had only read about in books. If it's a genuine representation of the show at the time, it only makes me want to see everything from that era.
Members P.J.
I could never picture HBS' Margo as having an affair with James.
