I was just thinking about when people said Ford reminded them of Cord, in appearance, and I wonder if it even crossed their minds to tie Ford to the Buchanans when they decided he was OLTL's savior. Are they ashamed or wary enough of the show's past that they would say "Hey let's just create a brand new family because that will really bring in the viewers"?
