Bruno states that YR wants fallen prime time actors for their roles and its been hard on their Casting Judy Wilson to make it happen sometimes

Bruno says Hartley was a great choice but maintains that YR always were thinking well if we need to we can bring back Muhney if we just give it more time

In a 1983 SOD Robert Gerringer was reported to be appearing as Bradley Raines. He then became Del Emerson on EoN.

I could be wrong, but I believe that they believe that these actors have built-in fan bases who will help boost ratings for the show and bring a new cache of respectability and legitimacy to the show and to the genre itself.

Because, as we all know, people who watch soap operas never, ever watch anything else, and vice-versa. Right? Right? Of course I'm right.

That's just bizarre. I can't picture Gerringer as Bradley at all. There was such an age difference between Gerringer (born in 1926) and James Rebhorn (born in 1948).
