I can't recall exactly. (Maybe someone has a scan of the interview in question?) But I believe it was along the lines of, "Well, I guess I COULD have stayed in California [instead of returning to NYC for GUIDING LIGHT] and went to B&B...". Again, I can't recall the quote, but the insinuation was that B&B was, by her estimation, an unchallenging show to work on.

Hmmmm. I guess the Bells didn't come a-knockin' again after she got canned from GL. Thankfully for her, she landed AMC again and reprised Liza Colby for almost a decade before she left show business in the mid-2000s. Hopefully, the GL experience taught her some humility, as that was the first soap gig where she had been fired, and that even an Outstanding Lead Actress Emmy doesn't always spell job security. Thanks for the response.

So did Susan Diol, who wound up playing Emmy Borden, who along with Victor, was a spoiler in the Bo/Carly romance. She later went on to play Angela Holliday on OLTL from 1993-94.

The embittered Cliff Barnes!! (That's what I always call him, anyway. Never just Cliff Barnes - it's the EMBITTERED Cliff Barnes. LOL)
