B&B: June Discussion Thread

I thought the song said...Push it, Push it...push it ...push it.....

Well, I didn't think that's what the lyrics were, just what it sounded like. :D I'm too freakin' lazy (and I don't care enough) to look google it.

Ollie certainly isn't a Mensa candidate, is he? Although with the way Brooke fawned over him for weeks before theHarveyWallbanger, I guess it's not exactly out of the realm of possiblity. If you really thought Brookie was a twisted piece of parenting.

Found this on YouTube, and as much as I like the current opening, the original updated in this manner would still be wayyy better:

I'd love if they did something like that next time they have a special episode or anniversary!

Last year, I gave up on B&B--thought it the worst show on air; however, the current storylines, especially Brooke bands Oliver, are great. Agreed, the mask flashbacks are camptastic as well is the way they keep playing that Pose sample over and over again. The show has a new, crisp feel to it and even the teenie cast isn't all that bad. Also, they seem to have worked with Stephie on her acting and she doesn't seem so over the top.

When Amber returns, something tells me that the show is going to finally take shape and get away from all the Logan/Forrester junk. I'm also thrilled Donna and Dollar Bill are off on the sidelines. A 30 minute show like B&B doesn't need so many characters and Bell could stand to scale back even more: I'd love to see Bridget and Nick float away!

I wonder what Bell will finally do with Katie. The character is great and might be a good match for Thorn; well, that is, if they ever plan to use him again.

ITA - Brad's hard-on for LaFrantz could really help matters for once and give the show new drive.

Bridget, Nick, Agnes, Donna, Marcus, Justin are all dispensable though.

LOL...yesterday's ending was so campy. Steffy figures out that Oliver had sex with Brooke and she gets this shocked look on her face and then Pose starts playing in the backgronud. Haha, love it! I wonder how much B&B is paying Daddy Yankee bc that song gets featured in every episode

The show had so much moment, building her and Steffy up as rivals and I loved their feud. I thought the Katie/Bill/Steffy triangle was shaping up to potentially be a decent one but like many of B&Bs good stories, it got dropped rather abruptly. Id love it if this were revisited, but its been so long that maybe the ship has sailed

What happened? Did he his discover his inner Yankee?

It was just his over the top reactions to Steffy that had me cracking up. She would say something like "Brooke and Oliver had sex!" and Marcus would get this shocked look on his face and say "That's crazy! Insane!". You have to see it to appreciate it, I think.

B&B needs to be revamped...but bringing back Frantz isn't the right move either. Personally, I would dump Nick, Jackie, Aggie, Donna and Pam, work Felicia and Thorne back into stories, go from there. The show frankly needs new blood. Preferrably some actors who can act, not just pose and/or take three years to become "interesting".

I have been watching this show since Monday since im out of school, lol wow I am a little bit hooked. I really am intrigued by the Brooke/Oliver/Hope story line, i know lots think that it's sick but I find it intriguing, maybe because I've never watched the show before, but..yeah. And the Daddy Yankee song, wow stuck in my head 24/7 that song is so played out on B&B LOL!! Every second it plays. Thought it was a great Friday cliff hanger today with Steffy telling Oliver she figured out about him and Brooke.

Although Oliver made it pretty obvious that he was busted at the end of the episode, was anyone else thinking "Just go ask Ridge" during the exchange between Steffy and Marcus? But I guess then there wouldn't be a story. LOL!

Yeah, all of the reactions have been over the top and campy in this story, which adds to the fun. I like that the show seems to be aware of some of the silliness in the story.

I liked the ending today, Oliver dropping the disc and Steffy looking all sinister saying, "I got you, Brooke". B&B has had some good endings the past few weeks.
