So I watched yesterday and couldn't bare to watch Liz and Lucky I'm so late I didn't even know the character was pregnant for Nicholas. What is left to like or sympathize with? Especially if one is a new viewer the character is despicable.

I see the argument of the angst Carly feels towards Daunte and Lulu , I don't agree but that's what starts good conflict. Daunte feels guilty and wants to backtrack. Where's the argument that Michael killed someone and Jason wants to kill someone to avenge him goign to jail is wrong? This showcertainly is always onesided for team Sonny/Jason/Carly. If they showed more perspectives equally they would be able to stretch an arc better and milk a story

Maxie: Well, don't beat yourself up over that one. Lots of us don't listen to Jason. And I'm sorry to break up your pity party, but you're giving yourself way too much credit for what happened with Michael. I mean, it was terrible, but we only played bit parts in that tragedy. The lead roles go to Sonny and Carly and Jason.

But ultimately, somebody's gotta lose. It's not going to be Sonny (Maurice Benard), Jason (Steve Burton), Carly (Laura Wright), or Luke (Tony Geary), that's for sure.

Claire's personality and motives have completely changed. Now she feels guilty for her actions and what she did to Michael. Um WHAT did she do to Michael? I watched the show and she did her job while people around her lied, manipulated and bended the law at their discretion. Claire was fueled by what she was given to work with. Im guessing she will be instrumental in getting Michael out of jail. Is this the beginning of their attempt to redeem her to get her ready for a romance with Sonny?

You know what's ironic about that. In the Brenda Sonny story (because we had a different head writer) Brenda was always shown trying to fight somewhat for that independence. A majority of the angst was built around Brenda not being compromised completly for Sonny's world so in a wierd way I don't even see these women as being Brenda bot. These women have only been spin offs of Guza's idea of Brenda

Maxie actually had chemistry with GV's Lucky, with JJ's Lucky they come across as almost brother & sister.

It's a sad day when I actually like Lulu better than Maxie.

She means it. She's been saying for years that it's Robin and Liz's fault that she and Jason aren't living happily ever after right now. There's actually the smallest grain of truth in that. Of course, she tends to leave out all the lying, whoring and manipulation she did. She actually was right on the edge of finally getting Jason (imo) when she jumped to the wrong conclusion and hopped into bed with Sonny. I think that's when Jason decided he couldn't be in love with her. I love Carly, but she has her own version of reality.

Hmmm So I think I'll join Carly in blaming Liz for giving us the scourge known as Carson and raise her one by thanking Liz for saving me from the one known as Jarly.

The show has been good lately. I know a lot of people aren't really liking this stuff with Carly, but I personally cant WAIT for her to destroy Lulu and dante. lulu is a backstabbing ungrateful bitch and dante is a worthless prick.

Well she was inadvertently a part of him going to jail. You can feel guilty about doing something out of ignorance. I don't see why she needs to be redeemed though; she feels bad but didn't do anything intentionally wrong. I think she has been clear that if she knew Sonny was innocent she would not have brought the case to trial.

Yes, but in GH Land... a.k.a. Bizzaro World... where a cousin who doesn't make a phone call is a treacherous, backstabbing selfish bitch -- while the cousin who actually turns his younger cousin in is absolved... Claire has to be be "redeemed" because she doesn't like Sonny, Jason and Carly.

IMO, Lucky provided the perfect balance of loyalty to his job and his family. Yes, he brought Michael in, which is what he was supposed to do...BUt he DIDN'T arrest him, and any confession Michael made to Lucky was invalid...Michael CHOSE to confess again to the court. Lucky had nothing to do with that. Lucky looked out for his cousin and put him in a situation where Michael had a CHANCE to CHOOSE what he wanted to do.

Lulu never thought twice abotut what was actually good for Michael. She did what DANTE wanted too. She was spineless, and never really thought about Michael as her FAMILY. She listened to whatever Dante said, and when Dante said it was time to betray Michael, she didn't say a word. She didn't protest, she didn't feel bad about her cousins fate, she didn't warn Carly, nor did she CONSIDER it.

Add that all to the fact that Lucky and Carly barely KNOW each other, and have NEVER been close, and Lulu and Carly are practically sisters and Lulu betrayed her....And there's the reason Lulu is a selfish horrible bitch.
