Bravo's The Real Housewives of....

I agree with you. Brandi and Carlton belong on an OC-version, not BH. Joyce is a nice lady but not interesting and doesn't do much for me.

BH has veered completely off path and needs to get back on the S1 track. Kyle should be the poorest housewife with the 'trying to stay relevant and make it' angle. Lisa and Yolanda are very rich and epitomizes what this franchise should be about. Adrienne and Camille also fit this mold, but of course they aren't coming back, so we need new housewives at that caliber. Kim can be Kyle's little funny side-kick, but it needs to strictly be a 'friend of the housewives'.

Speaking of Yolanda, I don't really love David Foster - he seems very sneaky and weasly to me. She also tries very hard to make viewers think she's in love with him and that she's reeled him in... comes across as desperate sometimes when we all see how volatile and sneaky he is.

Yeah, but perhaps she's been burning through all that on... stuff.

Adrienne definitely isn't coming back -- Andy fired her publicly, on air, which gives you some indication as to how mad Bravo was about getting threatened with a lawsuit over something which turned out to be a lie.

But Camille... Andy still loves him some Camille, and I heard they were trying to think of a stand-alone project for her but couldn't find anything suitable. The fact is, Bravo needs her more than she needs Bravo. No pre-nup! But I keep hoping she will be enticed back to play the sweet-voiced bitch. Camille is a creative, after all. And I would love Mark from Sunset Beach to show up as her married boytoy/tennis instructor/dogsbody.

David Foster does not come across great on the show. There is no denying his musical talent and all the Grammys, but he seems mean and humorless sometimes. I wonder if this isn't the trade-off that Yolanda accepted from some guy he doesn't cheat on her endlessly. She often talks about the young women in BH who would !@#$%^&*] your husband for a Gucci handbag.

David Foster always came across as very creepy and arrogant to me on American Idol.

I think Brandi is the show's biggest problem. She's toxic, trashy, and not in a way that provides drama the show can actually use. Last season most of it had to be edited around, and this season it's laden with racism and drunken embarrassments, like that cousin at the wedding you try your best to avoid.

You know Carl, I was up Tuesday morning at about 4 because I couldn't sleep. BH was on, and there was that foul mouthed piece of garbage, who's face looks like she was run over by a truck, with the same bull. She can't help what comes out of her mouth, this is who she is, I've been thru this, I've been thru that, if someone says something to me, I'm gonna... Not one thing has changed with the high priestess of trash. The only difference is that the other ladies are sort of calling her on it as opposed to defending her.

The only really interesting thing was Ken reminding the wretch about how many functions she missed w/out RSVPing. He should have asked that bitch to leave his house.

I don't watch the show regularly anymore, but I think if cuts were to be made, Brandi and Kim who, sober or drunk, remains fucked up should be the first to go. Camille should return.

Carl is a low low low low rent Lisa and needs to go. What were they thinking?! The beauty queen could possibly be interesting.

Oh well. Here's to no more sleepless nights!

I think Brandi, Kim, and Carleton need to go and for different reasons.

Brandi is trashy, tacky, and needs to be moved to the OC. Vicki and Tamra would have her for an appetizer before the main course LOL

Kim is still too fragile and needs to be treated off screen for her many emotional and physical issues.

Carleton, as I've said before, just doesn't fit and I think she knows this.

I'd keep Joyce, Yolanda, Brandi, and Kyle and try to get Camille back with a couple of other new housewives. What I would do is hire three or four women with the understanding that they will be filmed like the other housewives, and which ever housewife potential is interesting enough can be made a full time cast member before the season starts.

    • This can be difficult for a soap to depict. So far she's only shown an interest in women. Will a man come into her life? If she commits to a male, there will be  backlash, but if it's women only, them where is the bi/queer aspect? Personally, I would have liked a single gay male on the show dealing with hook ups/relationships etc. Smitty/Martin married with kids is limiting in those terms.
    • Of course, how could I have forgotten those thrilling episodes depicting the fire? Also we had the GCAC rooftop set that came out every Summer. Moving on to Friday's episode. Victor is propped in his chair, answers his cell and tells the caller 'Let him in'. Seconds later Kyle enters. So does Victor have security on the front porch? It would have been better had Victor taken the call, and then said to himself 'Well Kyle, let's see what you have to say'and fade out. Next scene Kyle enters, indicating that the first call was from the Ranch entrance and time had passed . Nit picky but I get frustrated when they do stuff like that.

    • I don't think Chelsea has a true label just yet. She's just finding out she has an interest in women. I think the awkwardness is aligned with the character as we've seen. This is the fool who keeps filming her family when embarrassing things happen and live streaming it. I actually think it's refreshing she isn't just jumping into a relationship  and that they're playing the beats of her trying to figure out who she is.
    • Wow, do I agree with you. Chelsea is coming off as ridiculous. All she does is look for a woman to date while not caring about her business at all. That she's bi is great, but they're not writing her like she's bi. She seems to be lesbian. Yeah, I know -- "no labels." I just don't find the writing for her story to be anything other than awkward.   -- I hope we get some diagnosis finality with Bill's trip to the hospital. I don't want to see these trips to the ER every other day. -- Naomi is going to blame herself for Bill's health problems? GMAB. -- Ashley doesn't read as a real nurse in the slightest. -- Another day, another rinse and repeat conversation with Derek and Ashley. YAWN. -- Kat is making mistakes, but she's fun to watch and listen to, regardless. -- I still think the Joey/Vanessa/Doug gambling story sucks. I know Doug is deeply in debt, but I don't like him acting this meek and submissive.  -- I'm not sure what Joey's plan was from the beginning, or why he had to seduce Vanessa at all to get his way. I'm not sure what Vanessa ever saw in Joey -- why doesn't he give her the ick? -- I'm fine with a story where Doug and Vanessa take out Joey.  -- The fades to commercials were pretty bad today.
    •   Victoria's house (that she long ago lived in with Billy) burned down (I think Aunt Jordan set it ablaze?). Victoria briefly moved into the ranch after the fire, with Claire, Johnny and Katie, I think? Mariah and Tessa and baby Aria had been living in the tack house but they bought a house we've never seen and moved there. Victoria, Claire, and Cole then moved into the tack house as soon as Teriah left. I guess Victoria's children Johnny and Katie would live with Victoria at the tack house eventually? But Johnny and Katie went to boarding school during the school year. Not sure if we'll see Johnny and Katie for the summer vacation or where they would live.
    • Victoria’s previous house burned down.    And I know why characters frequent Crimson Lights 3 times a day for brownies, muffins and empty mugs:   THERE’S PCP IN EVERYTHING.
    • Today was a good episode, and the week for that matter. I think they've also done a better job with background music. The scenes in todays episode weren't as silent as they usually are in the background and it was noticeable. I think the show has found its groove well and I'm still invested.
