@Cat, from what I am seeing on Twitter, the BH panel was nothing more than Rinna and Erika shaking their flat a**es all over the stage, which I feel was them deflecting--them deflecting from fans digging into their butts about how they treated LVP, how they ruined the show, and how stale the upcoming season will be.

Yeah, SLC has a lot under the surface! Wealth is displayed not in sexy wardrobes, but in land, property, and power. The lifestyle is laidback and western, and people were incredibly welcoming to me even though I am not a Mormon. They have old-fashioned manners, and many are also extremely outward-looking and speak more than one language -- the result of their 'Mission' where every Mormon spends 1-2 years in a foreign country at least once in their lives. Not surprisingly, I met many career diplomats from the State or the Defense Departments. Their internationalism was an asset in shaping foreign policy in the 80s and 90s especially. They tend to be Republicans but more Mitt Romney types than Trumpers. Tho I am sure there are Trumpers. It is an overwhelmingly red state.

Alongside all this work in diplomacy/military/energy/defence, there was this other side where women who divorced their husbands were viewed with a mix of awe and shock. Like, scarlet woman! Men who divorced, however, were totally forgiven and welcomed back into the church. Because men, lol.

And people were obsessed with who was dating whom, who was in a romance, who was married to whom. Interesting in a part of the world where pre-marital sex is frowned upon! Lots of gossip going on.

I would have more respect for Rinna if she pulled a Vicki Gunvalson and screeched "Yes, I wanted her out! And I got her out too! It's my show now!"

Rinna and Erika are one-trick ponies. I swear, if I see one more glam squad... And Rinna probably won't even be pushing her kiddies this year because their issues make her look like a not-great parent. So what else is there? She never hosts a party.

I am curious to see how it will be. Not to mention Gorgeous Garcelle!! But the lack of concrete rumours coming out of filming is a worry. Bravo usually start the drip-drip of viral marketing for BH many months in advance. Last year, the LVP takedown stories were coming out 5 months before first airdate!

I think we all know how this season will be--a bore. Even them trying to bring back Camille, Brandi, Kim, etc. won't save this season b/c we all know at this point that it is a stunt. Maybe SLC coming down the pipeline is a good thing. Maybe this'll provide the perfect cover for Bravo to put BH out to pasture.

Also, LVP supposedly did an interview recently where she claimed Andy stopped by her house recently and "jokingly" asked her if she'd rejoin the show down the road. Nawl, Andy. We see you.

This is just like ATL last season when they knew the season was a dud and went knocking down Kenya's door to return. Now they are doing the same for BH with Lisa and word is with Jill on NY.

Rumor has it that one member of the BH panel found out about the Pepsi rosé created in honor of LVP and threatened to not attend. Andy had to sweet-talk her into re-attending. My money is on Rinna.

I'm a little peeved that BH got all these major panels and coverage. Potomac -- which has the demos that Bravo craves and is in the middle of some major media coverage -- only invited two HWs (Gizelle and Ashley OF COURSE).

Also apparently Gizelle badmouthed Karen (AGAIN) at her panel. When is Karen going to get some love from the network? lol

Having said all that ^^ BravoCon appears to have been a BLAST and I was glued to Twitter this weekend reading about all the panels and fan reactions.

Best things I saw/read:

(Couldn't find as much ATL tea, which was a shame)

omg LOL

I too am wondering why no love to Atlanta, Potomac and Dallas?  Dallas seemed to only have LeeAnne abs Brandi, until D’Andra showed up yesterday to LuAnn’s Cabernet show. Atlanta - I only saw Kenya and Porsha. Where was Kandi and Nene?  They’re huge on social media, this would have been a good event for them. With that said, I had major FOMO not being there. Looked so fun!

Dallas is not doing great in the ratings, so maybe that accounts for the lack of invites. However, Potomac had a BREAKOUT year this year. It didn't just do well ratings-wise, it became a water-cooler show. I saw people talking about it everywhere. And Andy was obsessed with it. He really seems into RHOP and M2M (which basically fielded all of its main cast at BravoCon).

And Atlanta is ATLANTA. No matter my own personal feelings about the last few seasons, ATL has consistently been the #1 RH show for YEARS. I'm really surprised Kandi couldn't have joined Kenya and Cynthia (damn, I didn't even know Porsha was there!). Nene, I can guess why she didn't show. She would not be able to handle being called out by an audience member or another RH.

Marc Daly is an a-hole and Kenya needs to run. She got her baby so she needs to drop him on the side bc he is draining and clearly not into her.

Nene..she tried to fool us talking about having a spiritual advisor and in a better space but even that wasnt good enough damage control as she showed her true colors with Cynthia. She is such a bitch.

Eva is like Toya from M2M; always on the move. I cant stand her ass

Wow, I'd be shi✝✝ing myself if I had attended BravoCon. That's my kind of camp.  It's clear the audience loves Beverly Hills, love 'em or hate 'em.  Ramona in the hot seat 3 teams to squash beefs was hilarious. Vicki as the beloved OG will be back as a full time 'wife for sure next season.  I, too, was disappointed that Potomac was treated as an afterthought (alongside Dallas).  Andy looked to be orgasming in his pants when Fredrick or whatever his name is (the million dollar former porn star guy) slipped him the tongue. Cue Gizelle's horrified reaction. And of course, loved the love for Queen LVP!

BravoCon is good display of what's a REAL feud versus TV fodder. With no Nene, LVP cutting out before the BH cast arrived, and Caroline cutting out before NJ cast arrived, one wonders what they're cooking up for their next/current seasons...? LOL to Kenya and Zolciak having no interest in trying to squash their beef. I bet if Bethenny had attended, the audience would've lost their shi✝ upon her arrival, too.  While I'm skeptical on which OC housewives are currently cool with one another, but on the other hand you have NYC always having a fun time together.

ATL: Yeah, Mark Daly is a turd.  Also, an interesting dynamic that you have them using footage of the Bravo float at World Pride for Atlanta, with so many other city wives in attendance next to them (Margaret, Melissa, Sonja, Tinsley, Kelly Dodd, etc.)

I can't remember, but it had something to do with Dolores' ex Frank, and perhaps a WWHL appearance?

The squashes were hilarious. When Ramona and Vicki were called up to squash a beef, they both had no clue they were "feuding."  "I love her!" they both said of each other. LOL at Ramona's usual half-assed apologies.

    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!
