Toronto doesn't look as good as the first season of Vancouver, but it looks watchable. I don't know what to make of the cast, very hard looking women. I do like that it's a multi-ethnic cast and that you have a plus sized wife which you don't get anymore in the US. I'm cautiously optimistic.

I almost gave you side eyed for the vancouver mention till I saw you referenced season 1 of vancouver...which was a good season and not as toxic as season 2.

What Im noticing about all the new housewide shows here and abroad us that theyre only focusing on the petty fights with less focua on the day to day stuff.

What made the earlier versions work was a healthy balance between drama and the day to day stuff (which is why I love that the hamlin girls are getting talking heads where theyre eye rolling their mom lol).

Bulimia Jaw in that RHOT clip is clearly angling to be another Jody.

I like the Hamlin girls for the very reason DF mentioned: they are completely normal and relatable. However, neither are model material and should not be encouraged as such. That is the road to bad plastic surgery (Brielle Zolciak *cough*), empty, broken dreams and ruin.

Word on the street [(c) Aviva, (c) Carole saying "There is no word, there is no SHTREET"] is that the RHoDallas ladies are not getting paid anything, and that's why season 2 is actually happening. Because Bravo were able to keep salary costs to a minimum and the HWs are betting on a season 3 and a paycheck.

This may explain why Tiffany has opted not to be part of the cast (so far it is Stephanie, Brandy, Cary and Crazy-Eyes). I'm guessing Keith Suburban's music career isn't bringing in the $$$.

I still say they should have gone for Miami again with Lea, Adriana, Alexia, Marysol and Lisa

Marlo is gutter trash. After this episode Im over her as that was worse than the previews

Sheree is MESSY as f--k. Why did she need to tell Marlo about the rumors? LMAO though at the big reveal.

OMG at that SHADY Bravo flashback. TWO Minutes ago. DEAD

I also loved how they had everyone say "Who said that", one after the other... it was so funny.

Marlo went real low with that mother comment to Kenya.

I really can't wait to see Phaedra get her comeuppance.

This preview has my gagging - we're in for so much more this season!  It seems like Atlanta just lasts year-round nowadays.

Why is Kenya going after Wig in that clip? I get that Kenya considers herself queen of RHOA.  I get that she creates drama like nobody else. I get that she watched the show before appearing, may have met Kim briefly and heard allll about her from three other HWs. But Kenya cannot change history. She was not on the show during seasons 1 to 5 or whenever it was that Lazy Ass quit. She hasn't got the direct history that Sheree, Kandi, Phaedra, Nene and even Cynthia have with Kim. Kenya did not try to pull off her wig or give her the name Wig or tell her to CLOSE YOUR LEGS TO MARRIED MEN. Much as she wishes she had. I feel like she should have stayed in her lane and let Sheree or Kandi do the snarking. She did the same thing when Sheree came back and she went after her about 'Chateau Shebroke' like they have a history together.

well two things. Bravo is shady with their promos and is known for intentionally leaving context out of scenes to make them even more dramatic than they are. It could be possible that Kim starts with Kenya and I can see that as I think Wig is trying to get back on the show. Bravo could be using this to phase her back in with a built in feud going into season 10.

The other possible reason is that Kenya goes in on her so she can make Sheree's housewarming party about her. By having an explosive fight with a former cast member, all the attention is on her as she is now the biggest attraction at Sheree's own party; not her. She's stealing Sheree's moment and its genius and something Kenya would do. When she had her party, Sheree shaded from the sidelines but she didnt derail anything. I dont think Kenya hates or cares about Kim one way or the other. This is likely purely a power move

Ooo interesting theory. You're probably right, especially as didn't Sheree bring Porsha to Kenya's housewarming to stir up drama? Or maybe that was Phaedra.

And I wouldn't put it past Wig trying to keep herself in contention for Season 10. She looks like she is trying to do the most in that clip.

    • Hehe, twi/x actually x, formerly Twitter. Typically I find 2 sources for "crazy fan rumors" - the wrong parts of FB and x. Oy.
    • Not to hijack the thread, but was that character Justine? I just found this interview online with Logan and see what you're talking about - wow!   http://www.anotherworldhomepage.com/chat85.html
    • My bad….ill fix that  Fixed
    • Where do you discover this crazy rumor??
    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.

Bay City better be ready, because I'm back!   At Vicky's apartment she is once again drowning in doubts and jealousy. Deep down she realizes that her dream wedding will be a farce and nothing can change that. Bridget tries to calm her down, but the heroine is determined to suffer. She is not hearing any positive thoughts. She doesn't believe Jamie will marry her. At the Cory Publishing building another farce is in process. Iris, once again pretending to be the angel of love and sisterhood... is telling Mac and Rachel some wonderful news. When Iris has good news, you really need to look out for yourself. That's when things are bad. So what are the news? Miss Devil has put Amanda up for an award! Mac is smiling from ear to ear, and Rachel is suspicious. Maybe that's the effect Iris is looking for. To once again accent on the fact that Rachel doubts and criticizes her daughter. Iris will do anything to destabilize their relationship. She is like a cancer. Back to Vicky! Jamie is at the door. Looking like a sad puppy, he has come with a surprise. No, he is not gonna leave her and her unborn... Not yet. He has bought her earrings. Sad face. How nice. NOT. Victoria, of course... manages to break one of them the moment she touches it. Bad premonition maybe? She was back in hysterics. It's not easy to trap a man into marriage. Then you have to live with someone that didn't want you in the first place.  We were introduced to a new character (to me at least she is new) - Cass's sister - Stacey. She is giving me "hidden skeletons in the closet"-vibes. Love a girl like that. Stunning actress. I like her. The highlight of the episode was the strange and creepy reveal of Evan the escort... hugging someone named Janice's grave. I remember she had an issue with Rachel... and Rachel killed her in self defense I think... It was hinted in prior episodes, but I lack the context and story. I just know that everyone at the Frame house was mad that Rachel killed the bish. But I also got the impression that this Janice was sick in the head. So Evan is now talking to her grave and telling her he is going to ruin Rachel's life basically. Oh, Evan... I liked you better as a sexy gigolo.  Overall - 10/10 - how can I rate it lower when I haven't watched in months!!!

    • Once again, Marlena and Kayla were used very effectively and I couldn’t be happier.  Marlena counseling Johnny and then Chanel was the best part of today. They’re really delving into the human emotion of this storyline and I think that’s a good thing. It feels so much mature than it was before. EJ’s fear about what could happen to Johnny if he doesn’t let go of his anger could lead to some really good storylines in the future.  I also really appreciate the way that Paula/Jeanne are mixing it up and having different characters interact with each other. It was nice to see Shawn and Johnny remember that they’re cousins and share a scene together. I liked the parallel that was drawn between the two of them, and what’s going on with their fathers. I did have mixed feelings about everything with Cat though. I enjoyed Chanel warning her about EJ, mostly because it played into the way that she was written today. But I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Chad/EJ scenes. The two of them discussing Chad’s potential feelings for Cat didn’t really keep my interest.  But above all, I feel that everyone is being used more effectively and that we’re getting a better understanding of everyone as well. And that was exactly what Days needed.
    • It's a wild story for sure, especially the final conclusion (and fireworks offcamera, like Victoria Wyndham tearing into Michael Logan).
