OMG OMG OMG - can't wait for NY :)

Loved the trailer - I miss these girls!!! Looks like Heather and Aviva have major beef, as well as everyone vs. new girl. The leg on the floor in the middle of the party was priceless! I wonder if she throws it at someone or if someone pulls it off... you know SOMETHING has to happen!

My BH thoughts so far:

Kim: I HATE her talking heads. I don't find her funny at all. Let me get this straight.. Her story so far is that her dog couldn't stand her and needed some time away from her?

Brandi's friend with the short hair who looks like a Bond girl is gorgeous. I wish we could watch her play with her pets instead of Kim.

Brandi: She is indeed a mess. However she is not doing something much different from last season. Last year she chose to attack Adrienne (for reasons she never really explained) this time she is doing it to Joyce. I can't really hate her though. She seems like a very nice girl, I liked her with Yolanda's daughter, how she talks, she is fun etc, but she is someone I would avoid after some time.

Kyle: She thinks she is still in school. She thinks she is a lot of fun. I can't stand watching her in her fake soap opera tears all the time. She is still obsessed with Lisa because she sees her as the most popular girl in school.

Carlton: Everytime time I see her I am thinking VH1 for some reason. I like her talking heads and the fact that she can't stand Kyle. The situation with the husband, the nannies and the secret room is not that interesting. It is just weird.

Joyce: She is gorgeous but she acts like an annoying and less interesting version of Karent Sierra. Brandi gave her the beautiful gift of a storyline out of nowhere. She is trying too hard though and she is way too choreographed. And she is friends with Kyle and with Kingsley's stalker.

I adore Lisa. I love Yolanda. They show that you can be a very interesting housewive without acting like a joke. While everybody else is crying about stupid things or fighting like little kids and showing no dignity at all, Lisa and Yolanda -whether you agree with them or not- act and talk like normal human beings.

    • I'm pretty sure this ep is  from Dec 73 From the Daytime Serial Newsletter Ian and Valerie Northcote are deeply concerned over Laurie's  life being increasingly dominated by hallucinations and fantasies about Georgina, the former owner of the house the Reddins recently bought and are now living in. Doreen Post (Linda Purl) was involved in that story .Perhaps she was going to be revealed as Georgina's daughter? Wonder how that story evolved and whether it was wrapped up before cancellation? and thanks to @skylark

    • Many thanks to @skylark and @DRW50!
    • Thank u so much! I love that show and the more I see of it the more I want to find more of it even if it’s just in script form. But that house and especially the room looked like Victoria Winters room from dark shadows lol  this was great find! Thanks
    • I genuinely thought when they said she had been throwing up, we were going to get a pregnancy story. I’m actually not convinced we aren’t. Especially the way she and Doug danced around her own infidelity.
    • Shouldn't it be the other way? I don't think Taylor Hayes is playing Rebecca Budig.

    • And the most detailed discussion I've seen from an industry figure about some of JFP's worst choices as a producer (steamrolling over writers) was from another woman, Megan McTavish.
    • IMDb is definitely incorrect, because the final week of episodes in 1974 is uploaded to Youtube in audio form, and Mark and Laurie are there until the very end. The last episode shows Mark going back to the priesthood. I looked at the newspaper and the earliest reference to their house being haunted by Georgina is in December of 1973. This is dated Dec 14, but this same synopsis ran in the papers until the end of December in other publications. So it must have been within those last 3-4 months. I think Stephanie Braxton joined around 1969-1970 so that's probably right. I saw it stated in other newspapers that David Gale joined around September 1972.

    • Opal having siblings could add to the story. However, it raises questions about Tad's adoption. Why were the Martins allowed to adopt him if Tad had aunts or uncles who could have cared for him?  Logic limited the number of possible Gardner's (and whatever Opal's maiden name was).  Even though Linda Thorson would have been a hysterical choice given her British accent.  Especially because SOD often published questions by readers who wondered why Tad and Jenny didn't speak like their mother.   All of which is still not an excuse for Tad's evil doppelgänger Ted.
    • And if I remember correctly, at one point, they were considering having Linda Thorson play Opal's sister.
