I love me some Crystal Hunt. I wish she was given a better role on a more compatible soap.

I like her too. Her voice can get a little too high pitched for my liking at times, but all in all, she's fun to watch when written well for.

There was an interesting story on Fath that was posted over at DR, apparently, she really is a bitch on wheels (if wer'e not supposed to paste frorm other baords, I'll remove, i've never done it before)

"Farah nice? Hardly. Was it nice when while flying home from an event in S.C. a few years ago, she took the scrapbook that a bunch of her doting fans had given to her and proceeded to rip it apart, page by page, making rude comments about the pictures of each fan while doing it? (She was stupid enough to do this on the connector flight out of the event city. I guess it never occured to her that fans who had attended the event would be on the same flight, sitting right in front of her). When she came across one page where a fan had accidentally put "Eric & Mimi" instead of "Rex & Mimi", she proudly proclaimed that it would be added to the wall of shame in her dressing room.

During the event she was extremely rude to the organizers and the volunteers and even to her mother, who was in attendance! Needless to say that she was never invited back again, and Steve Wyman, Days EP at the time, who some of us contacted regarding her behavior took her to task and apologized on behalf of the show. Those of us who had witnessed everything never publicized it, not because we wanted to protect Farah, but because we didn't want to hurt the feelings of her young fans who had worked so hard on the scrapbook for her. It's interesting to note that the same fans also gave her a diamond bracelet. She happily snatched that thing right up.

I never, ever confused Farah with the character she played. Mimi at least had a heart."

This behavior is disgusting to me.

Farah Fath could call us fuckers for another week and I still would not compliment Crystal Hunt.

LOL. I never really saw her in action on OLTL, but on GL she had a tendency to make my ears bleed

Ugly, but soap fans who drool over actors set themselves up for this kind of dismissive treatment. The actors are not their characters. They all put on fake fronts when they meet fans because they want the support to keep their jobs. They make more money that most of us so soap fans should not give them [!@#$%^&*]. To these actors, it is just a job. They don't give two figs about their characters. Soap fans need to wake the hell up to this reality. I hope that FF's comments which have opened the door to info on her true personality get some people to join the rest of us in the real world.

Crystal Hunt is a goddess and I have my middle finger up to the posters on SON who disagree most everyday.

Vee does not NEED you to like him...

Ironically, this reminds me of that other MySpace bruhaha concerning:

ChristelKhalil2004Lcopy.jpg Vs.Davetta.jpg

I'll be "praying" for Farah too.

ITA, though I would say that some actors (the real ones) do in fact care about their characters. But everything you said needed to be said and digested by a good many. There are many kind-hearted actors out there who really do appreciate the love and support of their fans, but let's not forget that the relationship of actor and fan is just that, it is not a personal friendship, don't delude yourself.
