This was -- SERIOUSLY -- 50% of today's episode.

Now, I like the 40s motif, and I like the black and white stylings (except, it's REALLY cheap--you can even see the shower curtain behind some of those photos, and the lighting was off).

But this was today's plot. The Logan girls posed. Marcus' daddy Justin simmered with lust for Donna. Bill schemed watching them all (and maybe simmered with a wee bit of lust for Steffy). And Ridge simmered with rage as he witnessed the whole mess.

I had to laugh at Bridget reading her personal profile through the surrogate agency and thinking Sandy's a health nut, while Sandy was eating chocolate and chips and took a while to process the word "yoga" when she was on the phone with Bridget today.

I mean being the face of one of the show's two core companies is a major role. Besides, Jackie M/Spectra has always been the "campier" of the two fashion houses. Jackie fits the camptress role perfectly. Lauren? Not so much.

I wouldn't be opposed to Lauren returning to B&B if Y&R wrote her out, but not at the expense of Jackie.

It really seems like it. I can't stand these immediate one-day shifts in story and character.

I also wish, with all due respect, that Jacqueline MacInnes would stop [!@#$%^&*] up her face with cosmetic procedures. I'm not against it (and lawd knows, if I had a bit of extra cash I would consider an eyelid lift for myself) but girl is 24 at best. Her eyes look pulled so tight, she is turning into that catwoman Wildenstein creature.

Those photos are... meh, though I don't think KKL looks so bad. On the subject of photos, I really wish B&B would utilise their photo shoot work from last year (and which Sheilaforever often incorporates into his siggie). It looked like a Vanity Fair shoot. I also wish they would use it for the B&B opening which is dull as dishwater (and about the color of dishwater, too).
