Can't blame CK for this whether or not she wants black family time if TPTB wanted to give black family time they would have they seem to: 1) don't know how to properly write for that (not sure why if they are professional writers and writing AMERICAN story dramatic beats) 2) not that interested in writing for the family. The truth is TPTB don't get NEIL. I came in as a solid viewer during the LML tenor and she didnn't get Neil either, as a tter of fact she didn't get DRU but she at least had her own ideas of who they were. For as long as MAB and HS has been handling the reins, I just feel they havn't a clue who Neil is or even care to buy an idea. That in itself has nothing to do with CK. CK would have found herself in the same boat if LAME didn't take off

Hence why I said a "retooled" Generations. Besides, those not interested wouldn't have to watch. They can keep fighting over who made the better Lily until nobody cares anymore.

Generations was a noble effort, but it seemed to be quite flawed. I remember thinking it was unique to have a soap dynasty run an ice cream company of all things, but then Kristoff St. John recently pointed out, rightly, that it was, shall we say, a bit off for the first "black dynasty" on soaps to be shilling confections.

I still think it was unique, though.

Emily O'Brien or Liz Hendrickson would've acted the hell out of the cancer story.

Have to disagree there. Khalil isn't perfect but occasionally she turns in a great performance. Sherwood was completely devoid of emotion or enthusiasm.

I think she came on to be AN ACTOR, she knows her own ethnic background, she does not need posters on a MB to say she is not "black" enough, and she knows her character. Lily is not suppose to be Dru 2.0, and who would want her to be, she is her own character.

I can talk about anybody I want. As long as CK is still on Y&R I'll talk about the bitch all I want. & Ck acting is nothing to write home about. She can do naive teenage well until this day is all about Teenage lovey dovey. Nothing serious ever happen to happy go lucky Lily.

I'm all for anyone who stands up and speaks for what is right, but my disappointment is in why VR would want to return? It makes no sense that she is chomping at the bit to return to the daytime industry. It must be about money because she won't be getting any awards or any recognition for her work on YR. I wish she would abandon the idea completely because her credibility is diminishing.

Personally, I feel everything she says because I am a black female working my ass off in Corporate America, and sometimes, I have to wonder why. I'm a CPA working in an accountant's role under an oppressive 30 year old white middle classed woman who has nothing better to do than to make my life hell at work because my presence intimidates her - she only has a BA, but affirmative action is certainly working for her. I know this seems like I am going off on a tangent, but trust me, it fits. So VR can shout from the rooftop whatever the hell she wants!

Michelle Stafford is not playing an entertaining Phyllis. Yes, her character should have grown from the loon eating up YR many years ago, but grow into what Phyllis has become? Not! And when I read that she spit on VR supposedly in character, I was livid. I'd rather be shot than to have someone spit on me. That is the lowest. At that point, it was time to remove the earrings and whip that bitch's ass, VR.
