Mark... Nina and Dru were good friends when Neil and Dru were married the first time. Remember when Dru went to get this "modeling job" and it was a porno shoot, and Cricket, Nina, and Danny had to "Rescue" her? Cricket saved the day by spraying the guy in the eyes with hairspray. Anyway... Jeanne Cooper and Jess Walton were PERFECT today, as usual. They make it all look so easy. Billy Miller was good today as well. I REALLY felt sorry for him, especially when he was in the hall with Olivia. Celementine Ford was good today as well. She drives me NUTS, sometimes she's crap, sometimes she's good... I suppose one could call her performances "uneven". And I'm LOVING what theyr'e doing to Devon. I HATE the character, so turning him into this slimy pervert is like a dream come true. When he came down after nookie, standing on the stairs, and staring at Tyra, undressing her with his eyes, and licking his lips... I want him on a sex offender registry. The scoobies... UGH!!! GET THEM OFF MY SCREEN!!

Oh my goodness, I don't remember this AT ALL. I lived in Germany 1992-1995. Did it happen then? During that time, I had only SOD (6 weeks late, ship rate) and Usenet to keep me up to date.

Devon is currently the best actor in the Winters family. Better than Kristoff, IMO. And he has been written with more integrity. Thus, this turn of events disturbs me.

Is there a minimum skirt length for court? If not there should be. Amber today reminded me of Erica going for custody of Bianca on AMC in a leopard print mini skirt while the other party wore a mumu.

There's so little interaction between Billy and his family (although he's had more with Katherine than with most of the Abbotts lately), I rolled my eyes when they had him show up to be sad over her illness. I think it's just a little cheap, to show us, and Mackenzie (who would have been better served by the writers if she had focused only on Katherine and Billy had not been in the episode), what a great guy he is. So he's upset because the woman who's been a treasured family friend for all his life, and a grandmother for part of his life, is ill. What a great guy. Even the most soulless of people sometimes feel sorry for animals, or sick kids.

I almost wish they could undo Lily being Neil's by blood (have Neil find out he's not actually related to Malcolm), and he starts lusting after Lily. Then he hits the bottle. Lily, going through her own trauma, does not realize how depraved her entire family has become. When she does, they all leave town in shame, and Lily's only family will be Olivia, and later on, a recast of Nate, or possibly visits from Malcolm or a Dru return.

Of current stories, I think the one where MJ is framing Phyllis for what happened to Summer is twisted, but still fascinating. I prefer the psychological stuff to the more physical trauma.

I know this would never happen and I can see why but I'd love some scenario where Phyllis AND Nick both lose their right to take care of Summer, and she's given over to a court-appointed guardian who has some history with the Newmans. Phyllis opens the front door to meet this guardian, and...it's the Bug!

I want to like Mac I do and I like CF in the role but they have to flesh the character out. Stop making MAC all about Billy please. Is there any romantic heroine left that isn't all about the one GUY. Not to mention the lack of chemistry between both actors

Today's epi was ok. I feel wierd because what positively stood out today for me was the evon/Tyra scenes. The story is still very disgusting though. EVA is just not terrible (acting wise) when she's in scenes with Bryton for some reason.

There's something about CF/Mac that I just ..... UGH. :-(

Granted, I've haven't been watching this show for 30 years (like I have GL), but I have watched it on and off. I remember the original Mac...but what I don't remember is her being so fuckin BORING and BLAND and just....uninteresting. Has this character always been so blah?

I have to see the Devon/Tyra stuff. I wonder why, after weeks of not showing his blossoming lust for his father's girlfriend, that it's back today. We have to see this [!@#$%^&*] reggula to care about it, people. So much for his "taking the high road" and all that preachin he did to Neil a few weeks ago.

Krstoff is capable though. I will never forget that scene with Nikki at Phyullis' trial where Neil told Nikki "I hope Michael guts you like a fish". That was awesome!! H e was great. Aside from that based on his history on this show alot fo the best of KSJ was intertwined with V's Drucilla

If Tyra and Devon weren't related, I think they'd make a great frontburner couple. Her scenes with Bryton show that she's a decent young actress, just trapped in the wrong story. There's hope. Otherwise I don't know what to say about this episode. The stuff with Katherine and Jill fell flat. I'm waiting for the Phillip/Nina/Cane stuff.

I agree about Tyra/Devon. Had it not been for the aunt thing, the Devon/Roxy/Tyra scenes actually caught my attention today. I wish there had been some planning behind this story, because the quick family-rewrite really ruined what could have been some good stuff.

I don't think Tyrant should have been created in the first place, especially with the state of that family on this show. They've all pretty much been one once or twice a month. What kind of pacing is that?
