B&B Casting Spumor: Former Cast Member Returning?

According to Daytime Confidential:

GH's Ric Hearst is in the final negotiations to return to BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL in the role of Whip Jones.

For those who don't remember, this guy was a Forrester executive, who was briefly involved with Brooke and for a time pretended to be the father of Brooke's daughter Hope(Deacon is the real Dad).

Interesting if true! RH and KKL did have some nice chemistry going on, if Bridge ends and Ridge goes back to Taylor, Brooke will be back on the market(so to speak). :D

So, I'd be beyond overjoyed, although....

1. Hearst's BEST chemistry on that show was with Sean Kanan. Without Deacon, it won't be as fun.

2. Two hot guys in their 40s (Diamont, Hearst). Maybe Felicia's finally gonna get some?

3. This doesn't seem to portend well for Jack Wagner and especially Winsor Harmon. Not that I care about the latter so much.

4. As a guy in my 40s, what's with all the guys in their 40s+? Shouldn't this show be strengthening its base in the 20s and 30s group??

5. Greg Vaughan is apparently on recurring with GH too. Can't we get HIM back on a Bell show? Maybe Sharon needs a fourth lover over at Y&R :)

You make him untemporary. For example, Forrester starts taking a licking against Jackie M. They need dirty tricks to save 'em. Whip has lots of dirty tricks. In the process, he also disciplines Ricky boy and tells him to STFU. Brookie is impressed with this strong, devious man. A love match is made. It doesn't HAVE to be temporary.

Not at all.

Whip was dropped in a New York Minute due to the departure of Jack Smith and Brad Bell totally re-shuffling the show and battling with Hunter Tylo over her contract but the character was actually well-developed, delicously wicked and evil and had great ties to Brooke, Bridget and Deacon.

Rick Hearst could easily bring Whip back to life. B)
