I predicted 2 months ago Buttigieg would win this. What’s hilarious if he does is that Sanders team that fought so hard at keeping them in place don’t understand them. Buttigieg and Warren were both high as second choice candidates. Sanders was ahead in the first round but people who had to move after their candidate did not make 15% went to Buttigieg and Warren. Bernie was polling dead last as a second choice. Funny how Bernie might win the “popular” vote yet lose the caucus.

Probably so. After this the DNC is likely to shift things around and give a more diverse state first voting status. Illinois would be the perfect state to allow to go first, since it basically mirrors the demographics of the country and has plenty of rural areas so no one can say that rural voters wouldn't have say, plus it is Midwestern.

Oh yeah sorry. We have a very robust voting system. We have auto registration that happens when you apply for a license, early voting that is easily accessible across the state, no voting purges like other states do, and easy mail in voting.  The chaos would be the candidates all over the state endlessly for months. I am sure our Governor would love it lol.

And as expected, the WH officially condemned her on Twitter, saying she was ripping up:

"One of our last surviving Tuskegee Airmen.

The survival of a child born at 21 weeks.

The mourning families of Rocky Jones and Kayla Mueller.

A service member's reunion with his family."

I've got to hand it to the Republicans: they know how to play on the old heartstrings like no other.

Biden had fallen in polling toward the end and had stopped contesting the state as much...a part of me thinks well that's just Iowa, but he has so little money and no real momentum. I'm hoping South Carolina will turn his campaign around but it's what happens after where I'm more wary.

If any other centrist alternative was viable he'd probably be done soon, but they aren't.
